Super cheaply made and doesnt come with a mat

Highly recommend going with an option that has the mat along with it for even cheaper. The parts seem fresh off the 3d printer because there is dust and scratches all over the parts. The box is entirely written in Russian. It was taped gratuitously and dented.

I was not impressed with this "sushi maker". I used it a few times and didn't care for it, I ended up giving it to my mother in law as a gift.
It was not easy to use, and the sushi I did end up with looked awful and was literally falling apart! THIS IS BY NO MEANS A SUSHI ROLLER, THIS IS A PRESS! This will not give you professional looking sushi, quite the opposite!
I hand roll sushi now and honestly it's so much easier and comes out just fine. You don't need this plastic junk, sushi press.

Waste of money for this sushi maker. I was attracted by the shape that it will form but when you are using it its hard. I tried using the basic shape circle but the result is not good because when you put the sushi rice on it, its not balance and you are trying to shape it its very hard and you will deform the sushi nori. So in short its not worth it. I am planning to return it but I dont have the box anymore.

It isn’t magic - it just helps pack it all in better than without a mold. It is cheap material and any rough handling would break the mold. I’m not suggesting that I’m a sushi man handler, but this isn’t rugged stuff is all. Would I recommend it? I mean if you don’t care about cheap quality and imperfect rolls, go for it. Would I buy it again? I would not. I guess I got what I paid for.

For beginners, this is the perfect set to make sushi and sashimi rolls as you don't have to buy bamboo mats and use with perfections. Ideal gift for Sushi lovers. It was a breeze making perfect sushi rolls after first try. Pieces came out at equal thickness and you can make different shapes.
Bonus part is knife and spatula it came with so it is all you need except the material (like Nori, sticky rice, raw fish, salad and sauce or mayo etc.). My cheap Nori sheets from Walmart were perfect fit for making rolls and I did not need to make any adjustments in Nori sheets.
My only concern is, using rice first instead of Nori at the bottom, but if I ever try that, I will update my reviews as well.
