So, I've recently become a huge sushi fan... I'm 35, and it took this long to discover it's beauty.. if you like sushi, you know it can become pricey..but I'm telling you this kit was sooooo easy. Like super easy. This was my first time ever making sushi. Everything was easy to do. The sushi bazooka was my favorite part. Suepr easy...my only complaint is, the sides don't stay latched very well so you have to make sure that you are careful when you close it, but it still works. I didn't make a mess. I followed the instructions. It was very very easy and fun. I did not use nori...I prefer soy paper wrap and it worked just the same and just as perfect as it would be in the restaurant...but only better bc it's super fresh and rewarding bc you made it... Enjoy!!!

So far, I haven't actually used the Bazooka, although it seems easy enough. I was experimenting with using a rice substitute and haven't yet tried to see if it will work as well in it. Using the mats is also very easy and be sure to put plastic wrap over them so you don't get rice or your rice substitute stuck in the bamboo, although it cleans easily. I made California rolls and they came out great. Very happy. Also bought one for a gift for sushi-loving friends.

Got this for my 15 year old son to use because he LOVES sushi. He tried it for the first time last night and it turned out PERFECTLY! Super easy to use. Impressed by the quality of the items sent. The knife was a little cheapy in my opinion, but everything else was really nice and sturdy. I was a little nervous about everyone talking about the closure clips snapping off, simple fix...don't overload it, and they won't. Very happy with this purchase!
