About Suzanne Purvis
Suzanne Purvis, a writer and artist transplanted from Canada, I now enjoy living in the South (truly a special place) where the tea is sweet and accents are sweeter. Macaroni and cheese is a vegetable. Front porches are wide and words are long. Pecan pie is a staple. Ya'll is a proper noun. Biscuits come with gravy. Everything is darlin'. And someone's heart is always being blessed. I write fiction of the long, short, and flash variety for both children and adults, usually with a touch of humor. I've garnered a few awards including first place in the University of Toronto, Trinity College Short Fiction Contest, and RWA Launch a Star. You can find me on my website suzannepurvis.com or at my blog www.suzannepurvis.blogspot.com.

Cheryl C. Malandrinos must've have wondered because she has written a whimsical story from the point of a view of the youngest of shepherds, a boy, only five-years-old.

Blog postInspiring Quotes by Famous Writers
As winner of an Honorable Mention in Bethlehem Writer's 2014 Short Fiction Contest I was asked to submit, along with a short bio, my top ten list. After banging my head fingers on the keyboard I finally came up with a list I find helpful on the long, and sometimes lonely journey that is my writing life. I find solace, inspiration, humor and camaraderie when I read the words of these famous writers.

Knowonder Publishing brings you the fifth book in a series that provides you with a new story for every single day of every single month! That's right. A new story, every single day.
Enjoy hours of reading fun with your child. Explore new worlds, go on adventures together, learn new words and concepts and more! These stories will not only give you and your child a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, they will also lay the foundation for your child to become a successful reader, student and grown-up.
Reading to, and with, your children each day is the most important thing you can do for them, both socially and economically. Studies show that literacy is the foundation of all learning.
And nothing gets children more interested in reading than having new content every day.
Bree Finley has been betrayed before by her ex-husband, but is it possible he’s involved her and their company in criminal activities and fraud? Who can she trust? She must decide, but the wrong decision may prove deadly.
Among our twenty-seven stories, we bring you Jeff Baird's "Bailey's Mountain" which shows a romp with man's best friend through Mother Nature morph into a visit to the supernatural. Dianna Sinovic's "Point of View" describes a mysterious shifting painting and its sinister effects on its new owner. Jodi Bogert brings us "Old Man Omar," and shows us that sometimes those we consider crazy might just know some things we don't. In DT Krippene's "Hell of a Deal," a man buys a house for a price that's too good to be true--until he discovers the bizarre strings attached. Kidd Wadsworth's "The Beast" brings a ghost story to life--but can her characters escape with theirs?
In addition, we have new stories of the unexplained from favorite authors Courtney Annicchiarico, Walter Bego, A. E. Decker, Marianne H. Donley, Headley Hauser, Ralph Hieb, Jerome W. McFadden, Stanley W. McFarland, Emily P. W. Murphy, Christopher D. Ochs, Paul Weidknecht, and Carol L. Wright. Also included are the winning stories from the 2017 and 2018 Bethlehem Writers Roundtable Short Story Award by Suzanne Purvis and Christine Eskilson respectively.
So sit back to enjoy a drift through the paranormal--but don't let the fire go out!
