"I liked the dialogue and found it believable and well written, and dialogue in my opinion can either make or break a book. I would read another work by this author and encourage others to as well." -Iona Martin - Amazon Top Reviewer
"What a beautiful, moving and romantic love story. All the relationships were special and touching. Enjoyed it very much. No language, no explicit sex and grammar and spelling were perfect. It was really great." - Cathy S. Reynolds
"I would recommend "Swan Loch" to all generations and all age groups. Mixter has the ability and insight to bring back the faith and trust in relationships and friendships that, at times, we feel no longer exist. By combining a love story with mystery and sci-fi, this story comes together beautifully." - Kimberly Shursen - Author of Itsy Bitsy Spider and Hush
"Heart-rending, mind-tingling, above average fiction. Mysterious and romantic at the same time, Swan Loch is an addicting read. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves romance, crime, and mystery novels. Or anyone who loves books!" - Anna B
From the Author
Swan Loch is a Mystery Thriller with a touch of the Paranormal. For those readers who follow my Jake Stanton adventures, FBI Agent Stanton has a significant role in Swan Loch.
A passage from Swan Loch.
Chris parked along the side of the
road and they walked a dirt path to the Lake of Swans. A bright full moon and a cloak of
stars blanketed the night. The lake, still and placid, reflected the sky, duplicating
the universe on its shallow surface.
"Rumor has it that this lake only shows the stars a few times a year. It
seems we were lucky tonight," Chris said to Molly as they neared the lake. They
were alone in the night. In the distance the faint light of houses spaced far
apart could be seen. Trees surrounded much of the lake, but here, close to the
foot path, a grassy slope curved gently into the water's edge.
"My God," Molly said when they were close enough. "I feel like I'm
surrounded by stars."
