Throw them into a bowl, give it a good stir and you have one fabulous, sizzling, funny, heart-warming story, with a heap of passion. No need to heat the oven this book is hot enough already
K.Bromberg has stepped away from the Driven Series, upped her A-Game to bring you, in my opinion, her next 5* read!
It all begins with a wedding invitation. Saylor Rodgers has been invited to her ex finance's wedding. The wedding she planned. The only difference is that she chose not to be the bride. How does one RSVP to such an invitation? Do you politely decline because of the past or do you accept to prove there are no hard feelings? Saylor is leaning towards declining until her brother convinces her to go because of her struggling business. Her ex's family influence has hurt her new cupcake business. This could be the perfect opportunity to turn the business around. After all it's all about positive impressions. The only problem is that Saylor doesn't have a plus one to take to a destination wedding in paradise. Her brother has an idea... Hayes Whitley...Hollywood Superstar... his best friend and Saylor's childhood sweetheart. The same guy that left Saylor in the dust without a word.
Hayes would do anything for Saylor. He has never been able to get over the guilt of leaving her without a word. He was left with deep regret and a broken heart as well. Now ten years later he has a chance to apologize and hopefully restore their friendship.
Hayes and Saylor are living in completely different worlds. Their lives are going in different directions. Their hearts are only for each other.
A disastrous wedding, a sexy romp in paradise, a spoiled starlet cooking up trouble, and the evil media are determined to destroy their relationship. Hayes and Saylor have a connection that is almost impossible to break. They gave their hearts to one another long ago. Now it's time to take back their love.
Hayes will have to grovel. Saylor will have to find her inner strength.
Watch out social media, hollywood fans, disgruntled ex's, and discrimanating foodies. Hayes Whitley is getting back his girl. Saylor is in the kitchen cooking up her own special recipe for grudges. She's also cooking up love.
K. Bromberg did it again! Fantastic, delightful, entertaining, and sexy!
Read Sweet Cheeks by K. Bromberg.
Saylor was so easy for me to like, she's funny and the perfect amount of snarky, she's a business owner who is really driven, and the kicker for me right off the bat, was that she knew when something was wrong in life and did what was best for her. Prior to the book starting she was engaged, and it just didn't feel right, so she walked away (woot go her), of course this leads up to the catalyst of this book, her wedding invitation showing up (with only the brides name changed) and then the RSVP being sent back accidentally.
Hayes is easy to like to, I don't know if I loved him as much as I loved Saylor, but I do think he is the perfect match for her. He was more tactical in a way than her, he was the planner, the one who looked at the whole scenario whereas Saylor seemed to visceral, more likely to have a strong reaction at first and then put thought into it later. Hayes also has to kind of live two lives in a way, he has his life for the public since he is a movie star, and then he has his private life which is a whole different reality in a way. He has these great sweet moments, and he knows when to push and when to pull back, he really just is the perfect compliment for her.
I think one of things that struck me the most about this book is how it was able to pack such an emotional punch, so many scenes really had my heart pumping, and then at the same time had such a great ability to make me smile or laugh out loud. I love the dynamics between the characters, how they could go from being so comfortable with each other because of their history and it's sweet and funny, and then just the right thing would pop up and the angst and heartache would just ram its way in. So amazing. I think because of this dynamic the chemistry and the hot scenes were even better, so great. This book is so easy to recommend to anyone, I think it would speak to just about any romance reader.
