Hayes. Pretty boy. I was upset with him from the get go. How dare he run away from his first love without a single word! How hard that must’ve been for Saylor. How screwed up she could’ve been because of that. And he’s some big time Hollywood star now?!? And he just shows up in her bakery!?!? I woulda thrown something at his head! Something heavy!!
I was curious how this story was going to go. Saylor should have had major trust issues. Granted she had a few but still. I could also feel her irritation and embarrassment when she heard those bitty’s talking mean about her when they didn’t know she could hear them, in the coffee shop. I don’t think she was given a choice really.
Meeting her ex and his new wife was interesting! And he still had feelings for Saylor!! LOL!! That made my day!! I loved how Hayes made sure Saylor was dotted upon and never made to feel less during that whole attending her exes wedding. All to save her bakery.
The Epilogue made me cry ugly tears! What a perfect ending to a wonderful story! Loved it. Highly recommend.
1. A Sassy girl
2. A Wedding Invitation
3. An Ex Fiancé
4. One Hot Man to save the day
Throw them into a bowl, give it a good stir and you have one fabulous, sizzling, funny, heart-warming story, with a heap of passion. No need to heat the oven this book is hot enough already
K.Bromberg has stepped away from the Driven Series, upped her A-Game to bring you, in my opinion, her next 5* read!
It all begins with a wedding invitation. Saylor Rodgers has been invited to her ex finance's wedding. The wedding she planned. The only difference is that she chose not to be the bride. How does one RSVP to such an invitation? Do you politely decline because of the past or do you accept to prove there are no hard feelings? Saylor is leaning towards declining until her brother convinces her to go because of her struggling business. Her ex's family influence has hurt her new cupcake business. This could be the perfect opportunity to turn the business around. After all it's all about positive impressions. The only problem is that Saylor doesn't have a plus one to take to a destination wedding in paradise. Her brother has an idea... Hayes Whitley...Hollywood Superstar... his best friend and Saylor's childhood sweetheart. The same guy that left Saylor in the dust without a word.
Hayes would do anything for Saylor. He has never been able to get over the guilt of leaving her without a word. He was left with deep regret and a broken heart as well. Now ten years later he has a chance to apologize and hopefully restore their friendship.
Hayes and Saylor are living in completely different worlds. Their lives are going in different directions. Their hearts are only for each other.
A disastrous wedding, a sexy romp in paradise, a spoiled starlet cooking up trouble, and the evil media are determined to destroy their relationship. Hayes and Saylor have a connection that is almost impossible to break. They gave their hearts to one another long ago. Now it's time to take back their love.
Hayes will have to grovel. Saylor will have to find her inner strength.
Watch out social media, hollywood fans, disgruntled ex's, and discrimanating foodies. Hayes Whitley is getting back his girl. Saylor is in the kitchen cooking up her own special recipe for grudges. She's also cooking up love.
K. Bromberg did it again! Fantastic, delightful, entertaining, and sexy!

Sweet Cheeks is irresistible, cute, funny, hot, charming, sexy and just the kind of book that will make you wish for a childhood sweetheart in the shape of Hayes Whitley! He made missing Colton so much easier. As a top Hollywood actor he is SMOKIN hot and knows how to turn on the charm but it's what is under the layers that will have all the ladies and me turning into puddles! Sayler is the kind of girl that every girl wants as a best friend. She is adorable, funny and so damn stubborn but let's face it what woman isn't.
This story is one that goes straight to the heart and very quickly nestles there and it will NEVER leave. From leaving her ex-fiance, wedding all planned and just needing a bride and groom, running her bakery 'Sweet Cheeks' and then being invited to that exact wedding with his new bride to be. Sayler's life is hardly easy but I think that makes you fall in love with her even more. Enter Hayes... The pair together are funny, so damn cute and swoonworthy! And their story will have you devouring pages to get to the end!
I loved every word of this book, every page and the characters. The emotion oozes off the page, you feel everything! Losing yourself in Sweet Cheeks is easy and something you will gladly do repeatedly. I already want to start all over again!
The book started off really well, the first few chapters I was glued. Then it seemed to go slightly off the boil and I was left feeling slightly disappointed. It just didn't suck me in like I hoped it would. I think it is because this centres around the 2 MCs Hayes and Saylor. I like plenty of interaction from supporting characters. I just feel characters are better developed as we get to see multiple sides of their personality. I like faster paced books.
I was also hoping for more interaction between Hayes --> Saylor --> Mitch; Saylor and Hayes go to Mitch's wedding and there was only one altercation between Saylor and Mitch. So much more could've been made of this. I like my leading man to be dominant and assertive, I also like the jealous / possessive streak shown in the alpha MC and Hayes wasn't portrayed as this. He was just a lovable romantic guy.
If you like romance novels that are full of rainbows and unicorns then this one is definitely for you. It's well written and a great story, I just like my characters to go through hell before they get their HEA!
BUT, this book is one apart. The characters’ development and their challenges develop apace, even the smallest of changes given depth and meaning with relevant descriptive prose that ensures your attention never wavers. In fact _lots_ of passages were reread just to savour the moments described so very beautifully.
Thank you K Bromberg, that’s an 11 out of 10 from me xx Definitely Recommended !!
