This is the second Krewmen album released in early 1987, and I should say this is still their best. Great dark songs, cool lyrics and talented musicians... All orginals, exept "Shout" wich was recorded live (haha, another psychobilly joke).
Maybe The Krewmen wasn't very impressive when playing live (however I can't imagine it), but on the record they are Aces. Here they finally developed their own style: psychobilly with original metal guitar sound by Tony McMillan and expressive vocals by Marc 'Mad Dog' Cole.
Fine sound quality and nice artwork...

Format: Audio CD
The later Krewmen's works (recorded with almost totally different line-up) are more frenetic, loud and fast... but this second release "Sweet Dreams" from early 1987 is their most intriguing and shining album. Each song is a real winner, not many psychobilly albums could reach this level of songwriting. And still sounds extremely fresh after more than 20 years!
Absolute must have for any fan of the genre.
