What a fabulous collection of stories from some amazing authors! Whilst I have read work from a couple of the authors included in this anthology before some are new to me. I have to say I really enjoyed all of the books in this collection and were all 4 or 5 star reads for me – I think as a whole it definitely deserved 5 stars! There is certainly something for everybody and especially if you are a romantic suspense lover! I’ve chosen a few of my favourites but they are definitely all worth a read! Overall a really enjoyable anthology and I highly recommend it!
Partners and Roll the Dice by Mimi Barbour
I recently read my first book by this author in her mob tracker series so I was really looking forward to reading more from her and I was not disappointed. She certainly creates some amazing characters. I loved Aurora and Kai! Aurora was such a brilliant character – strong and independent! I loved the push and pull relationship between her and Kai! There so many twists and turns in this story that I had no idea what was going to happen! A really great start to the book!
Two Hearts Surrendered by Tamara Ferguson
I absolutely love this author! Her books always drag me in and I just love her characters. I was really excited when I saw this book in the anthology. I absolutely loved Kelly and Luke and their story was just amazing! This was definitely my favourite book from this collection!
Slow Dancing by Suzanne Jenkins
This was another new author to me and blimey what a suspenseful read! I loved the twists and turns – there is no way I would have expected that ending when I first started! I loved how it ended too – will there be more or won’t there! A really great read! I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.
Luke: The Unexpected by Dani Haviland
I really loved this story! It was not what I was expecting at all! Luke was just so sweet especially with Holly. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I don’t think it will be the last! It was really well written. There were definitely some great twists and turns that I didn’t see coming!
Roll the Dice was good. I liked the suspense, you feel like you are racing to catch the bad guy or put all the pieces to the puzzle together. It definitely made me want to read the next book and find out how things turn out after it all.
The story by Tamara Ferguson, Two Hearts Surrendered, is the second story I’ve read by her. I enjoy a good romance involving military men. And second chance romances. Not only was it sexy (these two had definite sparks) but it had a solid story. Luke was always meant to be with Kelly. I loved how she just wouldn’t give up on him no matter what.
Slow Dancing wasn't as romantic as I was expecting. Though sadly it started a little slow for me, the action certainly picked up midway through and there was a lot of suspense and mystery, along with an interesting ending.
Luke: The Unexpected was short and not my typical read. There was some action, a bit of cute romance, and a close knit town which I liked.
Missing: The Lady Said No was interesting, like a good whodunit. It had romance, too, of course, and action.
Turning Up the Heat, the final in the set, was interesting as it starts with two people already in love. Then someone starts to mess with them.
All these stories had a similar thread throughout, like the title says, of sweetness, romance, heat, and suspense. Though I liked some more than others, it was a good collection.
-Roll The Dice by Mimi Barbour
This is a romance about two detectives out to capture the same criminal. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat and the humor between these two is hilarious. Will they catch the criminal that has got to be gotten off the streets?
-Two Hearts Surrendered by Tamara Ferguson

Will Luke be able to get past everything and be the man Kelly deserves. If you love military romance this is it.
