About the Author
Heath Armstrong is a serial creative maniac, travel junky, and the author of The Sweet Ass Journal to Develop Your Happiness Muscle in 100 Days. By adopting the habits and strategies of 100+ creative entrepreneurs that he interviewed around the world, Heath paid off $20k in debt, retired his traditional ‘career,’ sold all of his belongings, and scaled his e-commerce startup to over $600k in revenue in 2016. He loves to fist pump, smash resistance gremlins, and teach automation, strategy, and mindful techniques.

Heath's guide to the journal brings a smile to my face because he has a voice and message and way of conveying ideas that is fresh and original. His writing is motivational and witty and to-the-point. Smash those nasty resistance gremlins and flex your happiness muscle! It's all about getting over the stuff that's holding you back and making your real dreams come true through consistent action. Be sure to read through the "book" section at the front before diving into the journal pages--you'll gain so much from it, and it'll give you some great ideas!
I highly, HIGHLY recommend this journal and hope that everyone who reads it actually takes action with it. I don't think anyone will regret doing so. Seriously, this journal has the potential to change your life. Get it.
The "book" portion itself is easy to read, informative, inspiring, and to the point. Great value for your money. I already had access to the free e-version but I find having the actual physical journal is a lot more satisfying/convenient.
Also, the part about developing your happiness muscle... it f*#%ing works. I have a tendency to wallow in my own negative thought patterns, but when I start the morning off writing down things that make me happy, it immediately sets a whole new tone for the rest of my day.
I'm only a couple weeks in, but I've found that filling out this journal every day obliterates most of my anxiety and worry for that day. It's one thing to "think positive" but it's a whole different animal to actually see the words written down in front of you. Can't say enough good things about this journal.
