Perfect summer reading. Let's be honest - this isn't meant to be brain challenging or deep. That is totally ok. It was tongue in cheek, snarky, and a fun, fast summer read. I'm definitely liking this series!

I love this new series. It's a must read. I recommend this book to anyone who loved the Sweet Valley series when they were younger. So happy the Author came back out with books when they are in there thirty.

I feel this series ruins the whole sweet valley series. Francine Pascal should have stuck with the ghost writers, they did a much better job on the writing before she came out with the 10 years later series...

Life is not so sweet for the Wakefield twins, as their lives are still rattling in this fourth part of the e-serial. Bruce Patman has skipped the country in the aftermath of the sexual actuations against him. Elizabeth is forced to resign from her job when she refuses to have her interview with Bruce's accuser, Robin Platt, published. A part of her still believes that Rick Warner, owner of Warner Gas, is still behind the whole sex scandal. Since Rick already knows Elizabeth, she enlists the help of her new brother-in-law Aaron to go undercover at Warner Gas. After almost coming to a dead end, Aaron may have found out who Robin Platt actually is.

As her marriage's divorce rolls near, Jessica returns to work at VERTPLUS.NET. In her absence, her position is now in the hands of someone else, Tracy Courtright - her enemy. Now she is forced to sit in a cubicle with the other workers, even though she is one that founded the company. Her love life is in the headlines, as she has been seen with the famous actor Liam O'Connor, the same man she had a fling with resulting in Todd leaving her. Jessica feels nothing for Liam and ignores all his texts and calls. She no longer wants to be the good girl, but instead she wants the old high school Jessica back.

Caroline Pearce is now a gossip blogger and sells some interesting information to TMZ about a certain True Housewife, the one, the only Lila Fowler Matthews. The truth about Lila not being pregnant comes out. Lila's husband is furious and leaves her, but Lia's little white lie might actually be true.

Wow! Sweet Valley seems like a mess right now, and it seems to be going back to the old Sweet Valley High # 2: Secrets days with everyone stabbing each other in the back.

I have been shocked by how much I have enjoyed this series after the disaster that was "Sweet Life Confidential". However this particular installment was disappointing for a couple of reasons. To start this seemed like the shortest installment yet. Its kind of humorous that this bothered me and reminds me of how I used to feel as a young teenager when the newest month's Sweet Valley book was shorter than usual. The other thing that annoyed me with "Secrets and Seductions" is that nothing is resolved. More excitement is initiated however. I loved that Aaron got a part to play in this story. I also really enjoyed the big twist to Lila's storyline! I think this is fabulous and I can't wait to see what happens next. I do think we are starting to see some changes in the Bruce accusations. The intern is starting to crack and show her true colors, or so I hope. But is Bruce going to make an irreversible decision! I am pretty much sick of Todd and Jessica still. I hope that they are done. What is great about "Sweet Life" is that it is more authentic to the character's of the past (except Steven and Aaron) and even more importantly these plots are fun again. The fun was definitely missing in "Confidential". I hope to see more of these e-serials in the future and I love that they will eventually be released together as a novel.

First, I am absolutely addicted to this e-serial. It's great- each ending is cliff-hanger-ish, and I like that they are short and can be read quickly. Part of me would like them to be released all at once, but the time between the new ones just builds anticipation.

Elizabeth- at once fairly certain of Bruce's guilt, is now Team Bruce. Too bad Bruce flew the coop to France- and there are sparks building between him and his lawyer, Annie.

Jessica- still wants Todd back, but thinks he does not want her. Todd wants her back, but thinks she does not want him.

Lila- oh Lila- it's never good to tell lies. Especially when the lie can be so easily traced!

Ok and while I understood the need for Dr.Enid Rollins to be an OBGYN in this story, and because it ultimately exposes Lila's lies- did anyone else find it weird when it was told in the story that Enid is all those ladies OBGYN? I mean they went to high school together, some of them have been friends- I could get maybe going to see your old high school classmate if they were a just a doctor, but the OBGYN specialty was a bit too much for me.

Anxiously waiting the new installment!

We get it. The twins and their friends are grown up, and oh my gosh they are all having some dirty dirty sex. We got it, get over it Francine, please.
This is the worst of the Sweet Life editions so far. The first 3 are rather enjoyable but this episode is trash. It was extremely short and I don't want to read about Bruces' penis anymore. Call me crazy but I just don't.
The beginning was quite interesting as Lila is off her rocker, but it was still like a very bad soap opera.
Sweet Valley ,which once had an old fashioned charm, is now all about whcih character is sexing up who, and omg! they are cheating again, and omg! Are they going to get caught?? It is pathetic.
Even the scene where Jessica finds a half naked Tracy at husband Todds' house is straight out of several movies, soaps and books. How many times have we seen this scenario, practically word for word? Stretch your imagination Francine.
All that being said, I don't want to be mean about ole Francy because she makes my fave series. I really didnt like this book though and I even deleted it off my Kindle.
