This was an enjoyable closed door romance. The characters were lovable even though they have some growing to do. A wonderful one-night-stand turns into a bad review of her bakery. But it was all a mistake. To right his wrong, Landon makes a plan to help save her bakery and her. They fight their attraction but eventually cave. But she’s not a fan of being a secret when she learns of her own secret.

Fun, easy romance read to indulge in...

I am not often the biggest romance reader, but when I do pick one up I like mine with a bit of comedy and this book did not disappoint. The palpable tension between the love interests, the food described in this book, and the family histories made this such a fun and well thought out reading experience.Aubrey Choi, the owner and baker of Comfort Zone was having quite the day as this book starts off. The cake that a 6-year-old ordered was sold to the wrong customer, which meant that she had to make a new one fast. Then she meets a man later that day and they hit it off, having a one-night stand. That should have been the end of it...Of course, when a bad review of her bakery comes out by the food critic, Landon Kim, her entire business is at stake, as she loses customers. So when Landon approaches her with an offer to help save the bakery's reputation by having her debut two recipes on a cooking show, she has no choice but to accept. But they have to stare a house on location and not fall into bed together, or their reputations could be ruined. Simple, right?Well, if nothing else, once you finish reading the book, you might feel inspired to bake something. I would have loved one of the sweet buns that are talked about in the book. The characters are perfectly real and flawed, with family dramas and histories that shaped them into making decisions that will make you want to knock their heads together.
