Follow up to Sweet Addiction
Told from Dylan's POV
Minor editing issues.
I read Sweet Addiction when it first came out and never realized there was a follow up book until I decided to re-read it. I am so happy we got to follow up with Reese and Dylan to see what happens after they admit their feelings.
I don't want to give too much away but I found myself laughing, hold my breath, fanning myself during some of the steamy scenes and all around swooning over Reese.
The author did an amazing job of developing a character so well that you can love him and know he is totally in love with Dylan without every reading things from his POV. Though I will say I was so happy to see she devoted the epilogue to be from Reese's POV. It was hysterical and moving all at the same time.
This couple is amazing. They have their ups and downs in this book but the love they have for each other shines through it all.
She also did a good job of taking a character we were starting to hate and make her likable to set her up for the next book in the series.
Also loved that Joey got a few scenes regarding his love life in this book too.
All around an amazing read from an amazing offer. Already ordered the next book in the series.
I loved how Dylan would challenge Reese with her clothing attire, her words, her looks, then crumble just as easily as he did for her by reciprocating her actions. She so funny and sweet and just an all around lovable character.
Reese was uber-smexy by being his typical dirty mouthed, witting, bossy, possessive self. I loved how he always wanted to be able to protect Dylan and would feel bad when he couldn't. That just shows how much he loves her. And lets not forget his words!! MAN! He sure says some swoon-worthy stuff!
All in all, this was a great read and I'm so happy we got to read about the wedding!
I laughed, I cried, I fell in love with these characters all over again...I want to be their friend.
We've all read the synopsis, I don't even want to go back over it...I just want to gush over how much I loved this book, everything about it. Dylan and Reese, so wonderful together- the love he has for her, a little obsessive and very protective (without being crazy and over the top)- what woman doesn't want that from her man?!? Dylan adores Reese, and why wouldn't she?!? That man is all that and a big of chips,I'd steal him from her in a heartbeat. (yes, I may be a little obsessed- he is my BBF to end all BBF.)
Joey is the very best gay friend we all wish we had, God damnit Billy! Juls is the gal you want at your side through every step of your life, no one better to have your back.
If you haven't read Sweet Addiction what are you waiting for??? Get on it, now! And then read Sweet Possession...you will not be sorry! And while you're at it pick up Where I Belong...Ben gives Reese a run for his money.
I adore J.Daniels and will read whatever she writes!
