I’m here for it all - the crazy, dark, psychotic, messed-up storyline😅

Had to reread this. After SD’s recent duet release Dirty Crazy Bad I was unhappy with it.
Listen, books are all fantasy and yes this series is dark and far-fetched in many ways which is part of the author’s creativeness. However, if characters overlap into another series…stop and think how. Because if you’ve read this and the new duet, you would realize the Luminaries and Elite could t coexist in the way SD writes. Just my opinion.

Sweet Retribution indeed. 🙌🏻Daaanngg, Y’all! So I had been chomping at the bit for this last installment of Abby and Kai’s story. Wondering to myself, is it really possible for Siobhan to top those first two books in the series? I mean come on... they were fantastic. Almost beyond being able to put into words, kinda of fantastic. Well folks SHE DID IT! Holy Crap on a stick, this book y’all! She took this one and kicked it up so far beyond anything I could have fathomed.

I went into this book with so many theories and predictions in my head as I’m sure you did too. Did she go through with it and Marry Charlie Barron? Will Kai walk away if she does? How could she even move on after learning what her father did to her anyway?

You might as well Chuck your theories at the door my friends, and buckle up. It’s going to be a bumpy ride on a dark road, full of twists and turns. There’s gonna be forks in the road, crashes and casualties. I’m still trying to come down from it all. 🤯

I feel like my heart and brain and maybe even my stomach have been put through tumble dryer. This book gave me a thorough workover, that’s for doggone sure. I loved every heart-stopping, stomach-clenching, mind-boggling, and jaw-dropping moment. Some of my theories were correct, some were not! They were ALL plotted to PERFECTION!!

The ones that weren’t, I totally get why she didn’t go in that direction. There were so many unexpected twists in this book. Now, I have no idea where in the world this amazingly talented author thought up these things, but I am BLOWN AWAY! 💥This book was nothing short of twisted delicious perfection. This whole series is. But Sweet Retribution. GAH!! Abby and Kai make up my ultimate fantasy couple. 😍🔥😍

So many details and fine tuning had to have went into being able to wrap this story up the way it was done. I’m not going to give any specific details on anything, I will just say, I am in AWE! This is better that I could have predicted as far as the conclusion, and like I said some of my “hopes” or “theories” didn’t necessarily come true for this book. But I wouldn’t have her change a thing (if she asked my opinion. Lol) NOT ONE THING! I’ve said it before and I will say it again. Abby is a total Kick butt kinda chick! 💪🏻 In a world where women are viewed as less than, she’s dominated and decimated. Even in secrecy. She can kick booty and take names like no other. She can pound you with pearls on and a pencil skirt. Talk about Cut you with Class!!

She proved to everyone just how tough she is and how she won’t lie down and take what’s being done or allow anyone or anything to break her anymore.

Everything that happened in this book needed to happen in the way, in the order and in the timeline in which it did in order for us to get then ending that Siobhan delivered. I am so happy with the way this ends. I’m excited to know that while we are done with Abby and Kai’s story, we are not done with the world of
Rydeville and those we fell in love with along the way!

I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for “I wanna Jump him Jackson” and “ Serious but Sinfully Sexy Sawyer’s” books!!

Sweet Retribution is the final book of the Abby and Kai travail. Siobhan Davis has promised Jackson, Sawyer, and Charlie’s stories, so the Rydeville Elite group will be back. And Siobhan Davis didn’t disappoint with this final book.

I’ve been along for the Rydeville Elite ride, and it has been a bumpy one. Don’t get me wrong. I love a bully romance. The way in which the bully falls hard for his victim is the epitome of a love that transforms. However, Siobhan Davis’s bully romance is downright abusive at times. These books do come with a trigger warning, and you should heed it because abuse is rampant in this book. Rydeville is a hard world. The Elite run the town, and the men of the Elite are some of the worst human beings you will read in romance. They traffick women, abuse young girls and boys, and kill and maim people at will. If these are difficult topics for you, you will want to think twice about this book.

Of the three books, Sweet Retribution is my favorite. In this book, the strife over Kai and Abby is resolved. Yes, they struggle to be together, but Kai’s bullish ways of the first two books and Abby’s constant pushing back against Kai are a thing of the past. These two will have their happily-ever-after together, but they will need to endure the abusive nature of the elite first, specifically Abby’s father, before they get there.

This book has so many twists and turns that you’ll want to buckle yourself in. Davis easily guides us through them, but she definitely throws everything at Abby and Kai in this story. Generally, everyone except their small group is working against them, and it’s a rush against the clock to beat Michael Hearst and the Elite. It will make your heart pound, and you’ll worry that their plan will be found out. That’s the point here: to get your blood moving whether by the tense action of the story or Kai and Abby’s bedroom antics.

Additionally, Davis saves a big surprise for this book. I’m sure some readers will figure it out, but it’s simply another layer that Davis adds to this romance.

Ultimately, if you have been following this trilogy, you will be happy in the end. Everything works out as it should, and Abby and Kai get their happily-ever-after. I’m thankful that, after all of the abuse heaped on Abby, she finds healing in the arms of Kai. She is one character who has endured some of the worst moments in these stories, and Siobhan Davis rewards her well.

If you are a glutton for a story that tears at your heart, then you’ll want to read Siobhan Davis’s trilogy, but especially Sweet Retribution. I still think this could have been written into a duet, but again, I’m not a novel writer. Davis clearly intended to make a statement of love overcoming hate. And she did that gloriously.

I absolutely love how all these boys are fighting for Abby and recognize the queen she is! I cant get enough of this series Rydeville Elite #3 and this authors amazing work. Once I started reading this series I knew it was going to be one to capture the readers heart and mind and this had got me hooked. I highly recommend that everyone reads this series in order so you can see just how far these characters have come. In this book this author does give us a conclusion to these two and I'm not giving anything away as you must see for yourself.

Kaiden and Abby have and are still going through so much and every time they think that they have stuff in order and huge curve ball hits them again, but can these finally get the revenge that they so desperately seek? These two will grip your heart and not let go and in this book I was rooting for them both so much to get there very own HEA and I wasn't sure how they would ever achieve that. They had my emotions up and down as I felt for what Abby had been though, but she is strong and she is a fighter I loved that this author written her this way.

This dark bully romance book was addictive and just like the other two in this series it was unputdownable and I cant wait to read the next in line. This is an amazing trilogy and this story was completely addictive and gripped me right fro the start, its full of twists and turns and oh my complete shocks that the reader will not see coming and will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is an amazing read and I truly enjoyed it.

I honestly cannot praise Siobhan Davis enough. This was the third book in the series and and it wasn’t any less mind-blowing than the two it followed.

I honestly love Abby soo much - she has every right and reason to be a shell of herself after everything she has been through and yet it makes her stronger and more determined to achieve her goal. Such a strong kick-ass character. I loved most of the other characters as well and am really interested in seeing how their stories unfold.

There are just soo many emotions that this series (so far) draws out of you. It’s hard to process it all and I think that’s why I’ve loved it so much- I didn’t know I could cry and laugh hysterically at the same time and then burst into a fit of rage seconds later.

I really don’t think 5 stars is enough for this book or series or author for that matter. Just incredible and I can’t wait to read more ❤️
