So far I've read, With This Heart by Jacquie Biggar:
This book is a quick, easy novella and a sweet romantic story that can be read in one sitting.
Annie and Jared are getting married and face a few premarital jitters and some things happen that make them question their decision . Is it all just a misunderstanding or is there more to it? (no spoilers here)
Little Chris is adorable and his character and personality are well described. I could picture him with his soft green eyes, rosy cheeks and his freckles.
I enjoyed this sweet story.
I'm looking forward to reading more of these stories that sound perfect for this Valentine's Day season.
Great fun to read, this novel crackles with delicious sexual tension and humour. Joan Reeves has a flair for snappy dialogue and creating characters that come alive on the page. Vivid descriptions make you feel like you're in the room watching it all unfold. A satisfying romance.
All for Love by Natalie Ann
I will admit that I am not a big fan of short stories, but this one was great because it tells the story of the first time the characters' parents met and then met each other. Readers already know the adult children, their spouses, and friends and have met the parents in passing, so this book is the cherry on the sundae.
Readers who are just starting these series (All and Road) might want to read this book first, but it is not necessary. Each book is a standalone with visits from other characters in the two series.
Anyway, Natalie Ann is one of my favorite authors for light reading, the kind of books you read by the fire, while waiting for an appointment, or just because you want some entertainment that doesn't break the bank.
