Missy and Casper both feel a pull toward each other but Missy will not give in because she know that nothing will come out of it. They live 3 hours apart. When Casper disappears in the middle of the night and shows back up with his daughter and ask her to help him, how can she say no?
Can they work things out living so far apart?
I love this series!
How Stacy Eaton keeps coming up with fresh ideas for each of the novellas in the "Celebration Series" is probably a secret she will keep to herself. However she does it, the reader in this series always benefits.
The town of Celebration is a wonderful small town, but sometimes it has big town problems.
Between winter storm issues, a visitor from out of town...at some point two of them, and then cover up stories, arson, and so much else, who has time to develop a relationship, much less fall in like (then love)?
Stacy Eaton knows how to bring on the heat, when to cool things down, and how to write an action packed novella that includes many of the Celebration Township citizens, that is still sweet...
There is a huge snow storm hitting the area and wouldn't you know it a Fed shows up or rather tries to come into town but there is a big ole tree blocking the road into town. He has the officer call asking for someone to come out and cut the tree so he can get into town. Missy is on call and WOW does she let them have it..NO in lots of other words. When he finally does get to the station she is gone but her scent remains. Let's just say that is the first of many fun encounters they have. This book was lot of fun. I really enjoy this series from Stacy Eaton and look forward to each new book as it comes out.
You can read it as a standalone but I recommend starting at the beginning. If you are a reader that loves a good romance, this is for you. If you are a reader who loves a meaty, heart pumping plot, this is for you. If you are a fan of solid writing, attention to details, and believable characters; then this is for you. Really a book for everyone.

I loved reading this book and couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read the next installment in this series.
Casper, the FB I agent, could not believe how fiesty the Despatcher called Missy was. When the two of them realized that they has to work together, putting up a front, so the town folk would stop wondering why the Agent was in town.
This, as all Ms Eaton's books had the warmth and generosity of the township and the people, just oozing from the pages . The individuals are always portrayed with the good and bad of their characters showing. After all, this is what a true person consists of. One can only hope to encounter a township like Celebration in a person's lifetime.
