So far, all the recipes I have tried, have turned out beautiful and super tasty. I just made the carrot cake cookies with maple cheese frosting (for the second time) , they are my absolute favorites! That recipe is worth the price alone!
I've also made the chocolate chippers several times, they are always popular with kids, wether the kids are vegan/vegetarian or not!
The cheesecake is super tasty, and I've tried the fudgy chip cookies, lemon hearts and the choco-choco sandwich minis (they look cute! a bit of work, but worth it!).
So far, everything was really tasty and not difficult at all.
I like the little tips and encouragement, about egg alternatives for examples...and I was wondering, why 16 minutes of baking time, not 15 - but it turns out, the author is absolutely right, at 16 minutes the chocolate cookies are perfect, not too soft and not overbaked!
One thing: Many times it says "beat with a wooden spoon" - I have tried an electrical mixer, and that works too (the dough tends to stick to the electrical mixer more, but it saves my arm muscles).
This is my favorite vegan baking book. Highly recommended!
I recently made both the Fudgy Chip Cookies and the Mocha-Almond Chippers for my coworkers, and they raved about both. I even caught two people arguing over which was better!
