William began to grow on Lyndsie when he assisted in the B&B while her partner recuperated from the birth of her baby. During this time, although from different countries and cultures, the couple began sharing an attraction for each other. William had to return home in the US when his father died tragically and Lyndsie decided to attend the funeral. The story was humorous when Scots Lyndsie collided with William’s American family. However, the couple’s love gained strength to overcome all the adverse circumstances and cultural disparities.
The characterizations are strong and believable. I experienced the heart-rendering decisions each had to make in order to be together. The story line is unusual, but interesting. I learned a lot about ranching and cooking. The scenes of Scotland brought back memories of the beautiful land, so unlike Minnesota, William’s home which is beautiful in its own right. I would say, “A lovely, enjoyable story.”
