We went dye free this year and although the kids have been good sports about it I wanted to surprise them with candy canes for the tree. I ordered them and they got here quickly with prime shipping. Well packaged, none broken. The kids joyously put them on the tree then we all sat down to try them. The are SOOOOO good. Better then any candy cane I have ever had. Perfect medley between peppermint and sweet and nothing overpowering. Even my candy hating husband had 2!

Candy canes the way they USED to be made

It's nice to find a product that doesn't include a bunch of extra junk in it. Don't get me wrong, these are still candy. Even though they're organic, I wouldn't call them a health food. But they are a simpler, less processed version of commercial candy canes. Even the coloring is sourced from vegetable sources rather than artificial colorings. This also gives them a very cool vintage feel to them. Very happy, thanks Tru Sweets!

ETA: Eating a regular candy can this second, after eating TruJoy exclusively for the past month. Regular candy cane tastes like trash. Overly minty, disgusting trash.

These candy canes are just delicious.

They are softly minty, and just the right amount of sweet. To me, they taste like what I think a peppermint cotton candy would taste like.

I was concerned about buying so very many at one time, but... it isn't going to be an issue. Now I wish they were available in larger quantities.

I was so happy to find an alternative to regular crap filled candy. Granted, it's not healthy because sugar is still sugar... however this is organic. We do our best ot avoid GMOs. I'm pleased to find these organic candy canes with no HFCS. They tasted great, and I was pleasantly surprised to see only a few had broken in its travels.

My daughter is allergic to red 40. She gets rashes and hives if she eats candy or anything with this dye in it. But her FAVORITE candy are candy canes and she was heartbroken thinking she could not have candy canes anymore because of her allergy. I was relieved to find these for her. I was a little concerned since other reviews had mentioned them not having a strong enough peppermint flavor, so I ordered them and had her try one. She LOVES them! I am so pleased that I have found candy canes she can eat! The only drawback I found to this is the quantity they have to be ordered in, this will last my daughter a year! she just does not need so much candy, would have been nice to order just one or two boxes instead of six.

Could use a little more peppermint

Four stars seems a bit high, while 3 seems too low, so four it is.

These are organic and naturally colored with beet root juice which deserves a decent rating for this reason alone. But I've reduced a star because they need more peppermint flavor. They taste more like sugar with a very slight hint of peppermint that quickly disolves as you suck past the outer surface. I've had better tasting natural candy canes for sure, however these will make a nice addition to a Christmas tree or if making ornaments that call for candy canes.

YUM! They're like no other peppermint sticks I've tasted. A natural product with no harmful ingredients. Artificial dyes and artificial sweeteners are known to be carcinogenic, so why take chances....buy Tru Sweets candy canes and be safe.

Half of them were broken

The candy canes were delicious and the price was right, but half of the boxes were crushed and the candy canes were broken. It makes me wonder if the price was so low because these were second quality products because Amazon did a good job packing them, it was clear to me that the damage was done before they were packed to be shipped to me. I am unsure if I will buy them again.
