I only gave it a four because it is not quite as sweet as sugar, and I don't use more than I would if it WAS sugar. No aftertaste. They say if you use a lot, it can be gassy, but I use just a bit on grapefruit or in coffee, and it works like a charm. Trying to cut calories and sugar is hard. This helps a lot.

Muddy Buddies-AKA Puppy Chow, is one of my favorite snacks. But, the store bought stuff is Full of Sugar. I'm not going to give you the recipe, because they're all over the internet. Check out the recipes for "Muddy Buddy Popcorn" It's Yummy!

This can be used in anything, one to one that regular powdered sugar is used in. It can also be used in recipes you would think powdered sugar would traditionally be in. For instance, I discovered that this works best in my "Sugar Free No Churn" Ice Cream. Why is that important? Because it adds more creaminess to the flavor. When you have a quick no churn ice cream, you want it as creamy as possible. At least you want it to taste as creamy as possible.

This also makes great icing and that's probably the most common reason people buy these products.

It's a little on the expensive side. It really does taste and measure just like sugar. I've tried lots of sugar substitutes that are supposed to measure 1:1 as sugar but don't. Swerve really does AND with no after taste!
