HOW TO WEAR COMPRESSION SOCKS?

Please refer to above diagram.
Please remove your rings or any jewellery on your fingers before you start putting on the stockings. You are suggested to wear rubber if you have long nails.
Hold the top of the stocking with one hand. Then with your other hand, reach inside the stocking and push your arm all the way in until you reach the end and can grab the toe.
When you have a firm grip on the toe, pull your hand back up through the stocking, turning it inside out, but leaving the tips of your fingers in the toe of the stocking.
Put your toes into the toe of the stocking, and gently roll and slide it back over your heel. Then use your finger tips or palms to slowly roll and slide the stocking all the way up your leg.
Be careful not to grab and pull at the top of the stocking, because that can cause it to rip or tear.

Not a good fit for thick thighs and calves.

The calfs are too tight for my chubby self and cut off my circulation and my feet tingle. The next size up would be too long on my toes. I think the elastic ending at he top could be made smoother and not only and inch thick. I ordered the M and the toes are slightly loose for me as well so they still swelled as well. I can't imagine buying the actual S! It's hard to explain. I'm 5'3" 188 pounds. My foot size is 8.5 (US) Women's and my calf is 15.5", my knee is 15.5" and my thigh is 22" about 4" above the knee. It just sucks because I need these so bad. The picture I added was in bed with my leg up in the sky lol, when I stand the gravity made the black band cut in even more. Make a smoother top band and better feet sizing and I'll buy them all!!! Fat chicks need compression socks too. The color and the rest of the compression felt good though....until I lost FEELING! 😂

Just what the doctor ordered!

I purchased these sock based on a strong advice from my Doctor that I use compression socks on a daily basis. He prescribed socks with a compression of 20-30 mmHg.
Do, after shopping around I decided to try these socks. I liked the design. but I was concerned for the quality and the heaviness of the socks.

So far, I am very impressed with the quality of the socks. The socks are incredibly comfortable to wear and I am amazed how I forget that I am wearing compression socks, and how good my legs and feet feel.
People complain on how difficult it is to put on compression socks. The grey heal and toe on these socks are essential to helping with putting on the socks. I watched a youtube video on some of the tricks of putting on compression socks, and having proper alignment of the sock when starting to put them on is critical.
Anyway, very happy with the purchase. Very comfortable for everyday, all day wear. Holding up well. High quality.

Crazy sizing, poor quality

I usually buy Sockwell brand compression socks which I have been using for 2 years (I work 12 hour nursing shifts) but decided to give these a try because of the fun colors/patterns and cheaper price. I was very disappointed in these socks. I went by the sizing chart and ordered the medium based on wearing a women's size 9-9.5 shoe and my calf circumference fitting the medium measurement on the sizing chart. The foot of the sock was absurdly long, as in likely would have fit my brother's men's size 13 feet. The calf part of the socks was stretched thin around my calves and much thinner and poorer quality than other brands. The socks did not feel like they would provide adequate compression at all due to the lack of quality. On the inside of the socks there are large loops of thread on the backs of the dots which caught on my toes and made putting the socks on and taking them off quite a hassle. Although the colors and patterns are cute, I can't recommend these socks at all if you are looking for quality compression socks.

First pair of compression sox I've tried, and I do like these! I have MS - while my entire body is affected, my hips down to my feet gradually are weaker/more "numb". I noticed a marked improvement in comfort, stability and gait. Im not healed of course, but def a part of my effort in managing. Thanks!

I wanted general compression stockings to prevent aching legs and varicose veins. I'm right on the sizing cusp- women's size 9 shoe, calf circumference of 15 inches. I ordered a medium based on amazon input. The seller stated that I could order either size- small if I wanted extra compression, or medium and I could roll excess foot fabric at the ankle.

Pro's:
-So stylish! I love the pattern.
-Calf portion feels great- very supportive and tight- but not too tight. NOTE: It DOES leave an imprint of fish of my non-swollen calves. GETTING A SMALL WOULD BE UNCOMFORTABLY TIGHT @ CALF.

Con's:
-Foot portion is very large. I was expecting a bit of extra fabric, but it extends about an inch past my toe.
-If I pull it on all the way, the ankle portion doesn't fit and looks awkward to tuck.
-The tuck does not stay after a few steps and the bulge is visible with shoes on.
-Loose stitching at the ankle. I can see a hole easily forming here after light wear.

I would order a small, or perhaps look for a different compression sock. These stockings are so stylish and I wish they fit me better. I will be returning mine.

Nice compression socks

Socks appear to fit as described.

1. Attractive. (I got cute, bright designs.)

2. Firmer compression than most compression socks, but not so tight you need gloves or a special tool to pull them on.

3. I wear a ladies' 6.5 shoe and the toes are a little long/loose, but it's a big relief not to have tightly squeezey toes in a compression sock. I prefer the loose toes to snug ones. (See loose toebox in the pic.)

4. Doesn't squeeze my popliteals (backs of knees) like a lot of knee-high compression socks.

5. I use these mainly for work, where I am on my feet a lot, but they also help me recover from strenuous workouts.

6. Haven't shrunk, lost elasticity, or become too elastically tight after a few washings on the delicate cycle (as some compression socks do).

7. I am short (5'0") and often have trouble finding knee-high socks that aren't several inches too long, but these fit great.

8. Nice tapered compression, tightest at the ankles and gradually letting up around the knee.

9. Don't dig into the ankle region like some compression socks.

10. Great back pain prevention.

Note: I don't have much extra flesh around the knees. I am not sure how these would work on someone with extra cushioning around the knees. Might be to squeezey around the top for one blessed with extra flesh.

Ankle/foot swelling is down

I have only had these for 5 days, but I am seeing a difference in my ankles. They had always swelled a lot from sitting more than 2 hours and particularly so after a 7 hour shift at work. Now my ankles don't swell as much and I am not feeling the fatigue in my ankles and feet. Best to start slowly with no more than 4 hours a day and work up to wearing all day.
