Tired of camping with the family in "family sized" tents that barely fit you, your spouse, and a few bags? Turn to the Swiss Gear St. Alban eight-person dome tent, an extra-spacious shelter that's guaranteed to make you the envy of the campground. The tent is made of polyester taffeta, with a heavy SwissGuard fabric coating on both the fly and wall fabrics to protect campers from rain and wind. The St. Alban's weatherproofing features extend to the sonic-sealed polyethylene floor, lap-felled seams, and factory-taped fly seams, all of which help keep water from penetrating your sleeping area. And to keep you cool and comfortable in warmer temperatures, the tent includes a full mesh ceiling, patented corner vents, three mesh windows, and a large D-style door.
The St. Alban sets up quickly compared to most large tents, with an efficient pin-and-ring system and plastic eave hubs. As a result, you can enjoy the great outdoors right away rather than wasting time on setup. And should you want a little UV protection while still sitting outside, the tent comes with a front shade canopy that provides added outdoor living space. Other features include truncated corners to help stabilize the tent in high winds; two zip shoe pockets with inside/outside access; an e-port that offers easy and dry electrical cord access; a built-in mud mat to keep the tent interior clean; and a zippered duffel carrying bag.

more in a few months!!
Pros: HUGE! Like another user posted, I put a Coleman double-tall Queen-size inflatable bed inside, and had several feet of clearance on every side. Also, was able to stand inside without crouching. Excellent ventilation, including door screen, 2 window screens, 2 corner vents. Power cable slot is convenient, allowing for a VERY small hole to be open in the tent. Also, the "boot" or "shoe" door is convenient.
Cons: ABSOLUTELY MUST be staked down for the tent to stand erect. My wife and I *tried* to set it up on concrete: it would not stand. I'm not sure just how many stakes you must use, but there are 20 included with the tent, and with the fly on it, I used ALL 20. I have (and would if I were you) purchased spare tent stakes, as the metal ones can bend out of shape easily if you're trying to hammer them into a hard-packed-dirt. Even WITH 20 stakes holding the thing down, it *seems* like this tent wouldn't do so great in high-wind environments. It got a tad breezy during our weekend, and it appeared that, in higher winds, this tent would flap, slap, and wobble itself apart.
Overall: If I knew then what I know now, I would still purchase this tent. For the price, its size (stored, it's TINY but heavy, erect, it's HUGE) is excellent. It's not a "backpacking tent" obviously, it's a "couple's weekend retreat" tent. 4 out of 5 stars due to the requirement that it be staked down to stand freely.
Other camp items that you should NOT miss:
ZODI Outback Gear Battery Powered Shower AWESOME!!! and easy to use. Put the battery pack on the ground and use your foot to push the red button (on/off) to shower. I tied the base of the shower head to the privacy tent ties (corner of inside privacy shower tent) and it worked perfectly. We brought a 5 gallon water bottle and refilled it each morning and let it sit in the sun to warm up. Water temp was PERFECT by 4PM to use.
Stansport Cabana Privacy Shelter, Green/TanThis tent was super easy to put together and very roomy. Once you have it set up, fine a location with a downhill slope to set it on, so the water will run away from you while showering. There are ties in side the tent that works perfectly with the above camp shower.
