Well, when I saw it, my eyes popped out. It is really smart looking--sleek, dripping with style. Yes, it is big--bigger than any other watch I have worn (though not as big as the Invicta watch I bought myself), but I don't care. It looks fantastic in the box, and when I put it on, it looked even better. The dial is beautiful, the face is really arresting. I have gotten 10+ comments on my watch over the last month, and I usually wear it with long sleeves, so it only shows when I actually look at the time. Friends see it, and in just that second, they comment on it. Every guy that has seen it has been envious.
I love this watch. It is big. It is stylish. It is not flashy. It is everything that I have always wanted in a watch but never knew I wanted. I can't say enough good things about it.
For me this watch fell (1) star short of a perfect rating. The first reason for this is the bezel itself and how it detracts from the dial. Yes it's a fine piece but at the same time I would be ecstatic if the bezel was a little thinner and the black dial of the watch was extended out toward the tachymeter numbers.
The second shortcoming of this watch lies in the roman numerals. I notice that watch companies who choose to include this style of numbers cannot agree on 1 thing: What to put for the number 4. Some choose to represent it with 'IV' which is great. Some go for I (just one tick) and some choose to place a 'IIII' there which is weird. These champions chose to put the date window on the fourth hour marker. Was this an easy escape? I believe so. I know there is a model with regular numbers! Still, no 4. More importantly, it would look better with numbers.
Also beware that 46mm is a pretty big watch. Yes you can pull it off but it's important that it suit your every day tastes, lest you look at it 20 times a day and constantly wish it wasn't dominating your wrist.
A great thing to know about these types of Swiss Legend watches regards the clasp and band. Double push-button deployment for the clasp and an incredibly high quality screw-linked band. Best to advise the less experienced jeweler of the screw-in link pins or else be prepared for a long-winded story about how the screws are now stripped and it wasn't their fault.
I can vouch for Swiss Legend timekeeping quality, mine only lose about (1) second every 3 months. I am not the least bit surprised that this watch has upheld a five-star rating. Hopefully I don't drag it down too far with this personalized review.
All in all, a highly recommended piece.
