When I received the tool the light flashed once. I replaced the batteries and it still did not work. The cost of returning it with a tracking # is too much to be worth returning it. I would give 5 stars for the knife part which is great. If you buy one, get it where you can try the flashlight before you pay.
Don't buy it for the flashlight aspect, I can only imagine that the battery goes dead in no time from other objects pressing the button. And there are a million other choices for key ring lights.
Sometimes this very piece sells for as little as $3 shipped. Even at $7 shipped, it's a great deal.
I added pictures to show the superficial wear and size relative to a normal house key. ..
First arrived, light did not work. When second arrived, I discovered some design issues:
1: Button presses on too easily and is not at all protected/recessed. I keep seeing my keys in my pocket with a glow of the light.
2: the thing is really a bit too large for reasonable use on a keychain
3: Eyelet for the keychain is small and thick, forcing you to use larger rings (making it bigger) or carve up the hole for smaller rings.

this is a toy it can't cut nothing
Really cool tool. The knife locks nicely now. Hopefully that lasts. The little link that attaches the clip to the keyring broke on the first day. Read morePublished 3 months ago by J. Y.
Kind of cheap looking and you would know it wasn't a key by the look of the surrounding keys.Published 4 months ago by Mr. J.
Knife really isn't that sharp and it feels pretty cheap in construction, but I do get a LOT of compliments on it being a knife. Really you get what you pay for. Read morePublished 4 months ago by KMack15
Great addition to the key chain.
4 stars because it is to easy to accidentally turn the light on. The knife could also be easier to open. The blade doesn't lock.
