About the author

> Heartwarming dog stories
> Gripping historical fiction
> Pulse-pounding thrillers
I’ve hand-fed a wild orangutan in a rainforest, explored exotic locations such as Machu Picchu, and sparred with a monk at a Shaolin temple. As you can tell, I love seeking out extraordinary adventures. So what more appropriate profession could I find than writing — creating wondrous worlds filled with fascinating characters?
I’ve been a full-time author since 2016 and write in multiple genres — you’ll find my books crammed with either adorable mutts who’ll melt your heart, justice-seeking antiheroes, or heartbreaking tales inspired by true stories from the Holocaust.
I pen my novels in the North of England, where I live with my Polish partner and two stray black cats who turned up in our garden one day and liked it so much they moved into the house.
So whether you love to curl up with heartwarming tales about lovable dogs, gritty, action-packed thrillers, or heart-wrenching stories from history’s darkest hour, I hope you’ll join me on my literary journey.
Happy reading,
Steve

And she was prepared to do anything she had to do to work her way back home...and finish it...
Until then, she'd help help those who faced danger wherever and whenever she could...
This time, it was a woman, hoping to find her kidnapped daughter before she died...
This book has been compared to other stories; but when I started reading, I knew immediately who I would have chosen to play the main female character part--Geena Davis. Specifically, her role in my very favorite movie since it first came out...The Long Kiss Goodnight... Of course, the story is quite different, but the female character was seen as two different women--one who had changed after she had faced a traumatic experience. The end result? Tess Williams was now prepared to kill, whenever...
Tess Williams is the female action hero of the Angel of Darkness Series...This is my first book in this action thriller where revenge and vigilante justice takes care of business...bad business... I love this Character!
We are in Krakow where a young girl is looking for work...she looks bedraggled and after one look, most everybody turns away from her...But it's not her fault. She and her mother stopped here on their way to see a doctor in England--hoping to find somebody who will find a cure for what is causing her mother's slow death... But then they were robbed of everything!
She had about given up when she stopped in a small cafe and carefully spoke in Polish asking for work. She was thrilled when the woman said yes, but then she went on talking and Cat didn't know enough of the language to keep up. Finally, the woman turned away from her and Cat was forced once again to drag herself out the door...
That was the last place she visited, asking for work..
Tess had stopped in a bar to have a quiet drink. That didn't seem to be possible for her because she could see that a small group of Polish men with motorcycle jackets were beginning to harass a young couple--a female Polish girl and an American boy... and then followed them when they left... to continue the harassment, wanting to know why the American boy came here for Polish girls... and then they went after the boy... Tess took care of the situation. Check out my blog for excerpts and pics...
Tess was moving on after that little diversion, but she had been seen... Tess knew somebody was watching, but since nobody was coming out, she went on to where she'd been headed: Auschwitz... After going through everything, she was headed out when an older, limping woman came toward her. She asked Tess the direction to the gas chambers...
And that is when she met Catalina's mother, Elena Petresku, who asked her to help find her daughter...before she died...
Kill Switch was named because of Tess' ability to switch into her killing mode. She had talked with the old lady, who had asked so many questions that Tess might have felt like she was being interviewed...Actually, she was...Tess had been helpful and spent time with the older woman and agreed to help her. They even, to a great extent, had become friends, each helping in whatever way she could in the search to find Cat, no matter what...
Be prepared for lots of dangerous action scenes and meeting the scum who prey on the innocent... And, remember, Tess had once been innocent. And now she was prepared to kill to find her. Are you prepared to read an extremely believable story on Human Trafficking? If you care about those who are innocent and are swept away into the dark...read this book! Start talking about what is being done to young boys and girls all around the world. I find when this topic is primary in the book, I find no other way to solve this problem...Revenge and Vigilantism may come to be what happens when the officials seem not to be able to stop these criminals...
I'm Tess and spreading the word...Know what is happening and start demanding action against Human Trafficking... Read this book...

A beautiful young woman is seeking work, any kind of work, so that she and her mother who is dying can leave this Baltic country and travel to England where her mother, who is extremely ill, perhaps even dying, may get medical help. But her purse was stolen. She has no money. She is willing to clean houses to get money, to get out. A handsome personable man offers her a job and drives her to it. But there is no job. Instead she is beaten and raped.
The girl’s mother is looking for her. She sees a five foot seven beautiful woman save a couple by beating up three men who threatened them. This is Tess who has a past where harm was done to her in America. She spent ten years training in hand to hand combat and breathing exercises to control herself, who is determined to take revenge for what was done to her. Until then she helps others who need help, just as she helped the couple that the mother saw. She had killed 56 people. She wears a bullet-proof vest when need as well as other protective gear, including glove with metal inside. The abducted girl’s mother feels certain that Tess can help her. Tess feels sorry for her and agrees to help find her daughter.
The book tells of their search and the difficulties they encounter and the people Tess must fight and those she must kill. It is, as I wrote, gripping. It is also suspenseful. The figure of Tess is nicely drawn and we identify with her. There is much suspense and a lot of action.

About as far from SF as could be, no zombies, no post apocalyptic setting, no time travel and not a spaceship (be it the last of its kind, abandoned and infested with aliens or the 1st of its kind) in sight.
But in this books defence, it has a cracking good plot, a dark lead character who you quite quickly grow to like.
Its an easy read.
A second ‘but’ here, please be aware its not for the squeamish.
Almost dropped a star because it had conned me, but I'm not that vindictive.
I'll blame it on Amazon's marketing Dept. instead.
