And what makes it worse is that they are completely inconsistent with the terminology they use. It's one thing to be right or wrong with the terms you choose. But it's another thing entirely to be both right and wrong depending on what page you read.
For instance, they use the term "magazine" and "clip" interchangeably, as if they are two ways to reference the same thing. But, no, they are not the same thing. They are two entirely different items serving entirely different purposes. Magazines hold and feed rounds into a weapon. A clip merely holds rounds. (And while that might not sound like a big difference, think: Do you wear clothes or do you wear a closet?)
Another example is units of distance. They randomly go back and forth between metric and imperial units for seemingly no reason. Generally speaking, metric units are the go-to for military tactics. It's very easy to do mental calculations with a unit that works on base 10. It also helps that modern physics equations use meters for calculations... making it easier for someone to figure out how to land a bullet on a target that is many hundreds of meters away. Also, if you've ever heard the term "click" (As in, "we are 5 clicks away from the landing zone") that is just another word for Kilometer.
All the imperial units like "1200 yards" just makes it hard to understand the scene. And I am from America, where imperial units are used in most practical applications.
All that being said, the story is definitely great and the characters are likable. I'd recommend it for anyone who enjoyed SAO or anyone who likes battle royal games.
