This item works as advertised. As other reviewers have noted, one has to insert certain flash memory cards upside down. The only problem with the product was that it was packaged without the proper mounting screws. When I emailed the company and explicitly mentioned that the item came without the screws and asked, "How am I supposed to mount this thing?" their unhelpful reply was, "Use the screws that came with it." They ignored my second inquiry for an alternative source for the screws.
The screw holes on the item lack threads so I cannot use the threaded screws from the mount of the device that this item replaced. I'm going to have to return this item because I can't mount it. That will be a shame, because there is nothing wrong with it.
