The paper is a great weight for color pencils, lines of the designs are clear and there's one design per page page (no ridiculous printing front to back in case you want to remove from the book and frame).
I loved this book so much I also came back and bought a second one for my Mom for her birthday, and within hours of opening the present she too was hooked on coloring for relaxation. There's something very calming about every one of these designs. Every time I sit down to color one I end up doing two pages instead.
I've uploaded some detail photographs of some of the designs so you can see how amazing and inspiring these pages were for me. I can't wait to see what Marion is going to put out next!
The designs range from simple and easy to complex and arduous. Older children to adults would certainly enjoy this book. The paper is medium weight, so coloring with wet mediums will work, however it's recommended that you place a blotter sheet behind the page to protect the following page(s). The pages are single-sided, so there's no worry about ruining a design on the opposite side of the page. This is always one of my most important review factors.
It is with great pleasure that I was able to review this book for Marion, and I have attached a video of my flip-through so you can see the amazing designs for yourself. Enjoy!
