21st Century Relationship Guru.

Behold the relationship guru of the 21st century. Alison Armstrong has been studying men and women and how they relate to each other from the point of view of evolution (or lack thereof) and how it translates into ways of thinking, behaviors, communication problems in our modern day existence. Ms Armstrong uses the paradigm of men being hunters and women gatherers, and how this genetically-driven division of labor affect the way we behave towards each other and why we get into so much trouble, despite the fact that we want to be together.
In addition to this program, the booklet making sense of Men, I am now listening to Making Sense of Women and planning to hear more from her. Her programs are well structured. Thoughtful, and with the listener and/or audience in mind. While you might not agree with a hundred per cent of her insights, I think for the most part there is value in her ideas, even if some may not apply universally.
Her programs are much better than everything else that is out there in terms of relationships. Besides she is a magnificent improviser and even listening to the audio of her conferences, it comes out as entertaining and easy to follow.

Surprisingly Good!

The CDs have made the rounds to a lot of my friends both men and women. She really gets what men are about which is kind of refreshing for a 50 something male to hear after having to deal with negative feminist views from the 1970's to the late 1990's. From my cohort group -- not the case of those under 40 now -- we were told to be all kinds of things which really weren't who we were as a gender.

It was well worth the price and it gave me a lot of clarity about myself as a man and my understanding of women as women. I like her kindness to both genders and giving usable information to help in relationships. Wish I could have heard these in my 20's. She actually says what Grey was trying to say MEN ARE FROM MARS.

Buy it because it will change your view on relationships, men, and women.

I don't buy a lot of this kind of stuff because I just don't but I'm glad I bought these CD's and listen to them from time to time. Alison really hits home on a lot of things and I've listened to her and taken note on her suggestions and they have paid off. I highly recommend these CD's. She has some wonderful insights about the differences between the opposite sex.

I attended one of the "Understanding Men" workshops and they were selling this CD set for over $100. I was so glad to see it here for much less. After listening to all 4 cds, I have to say that I wish I had something like this years ago. The speaker is so engaging and it is very well done. I was never bored listening to the various topics. The content is for both men and women, but I think this probably appeals to mostly women. Alison explains in great detail what all the "mysteries" are about both sexes. She spends a lot of time on men, so I was happy about that. My #1 lesson I learned was that we should be eternally happy when someone breaks up with us because that means you don't have to waste your time anymore and can move on to the next person. Duh! Her advice is so simple and straightforward and makes perfect sense. My friend also listened to the cds and she also learned a lot from them. I highly recommend In Sync With The Opposite Sex to anyone unhappy with their love life.

This CD is empowering, insightful and gives practical advice and information for relating better with the opposite sex especially in dating situations. Alison Armstrong has love compassion and understanding for men and women. With that she is able to guide the listener to make better choices and relate better with the opposite sex. I have shown this to my sisters and friends and they have all loved it and felt empowered by her information and advice. Well worth the money.

Armstrong is not one of those tawdry relationship guru types that just help you get a hot date for Saturday night or be a great lover. It is about deep understanding and peace between the sexes for long term workability in relationships. She also does not put men down like so many do. I think this is refreshing and needed. Ladies, male bashing really is not helping us or our relationships, lets give it up and belly up to the bar for mutually loving and empowering relationships. Alison helps us learn to do this. It is a place of much more power and love than any male bashing could ever get us.
