I committed to do 80 Day Obsession by Beachbody buy my order was delayed three weeks. You need these immediately, so I ordered them and prayed they didn't suck. They didn't suck. They're actually better than the BB ones, IMO. They slide perfectly in my carpet and hardwood floors (I workout in my living room or family room.) Your feet (in shoes) don't slide off the disks. I am pleased and would buy again.

(PS I'm a plus sized gal, my weight did not impede them from sliding which I wondered about. So, my fluffy gals, this product IS for you too!)

Effective but not for everyone!

I was skeptical of these at first as a fitness trainer. But I gave them a shot and found that I like them for myself and some of my advanced students. I don't incorporate them into every routine for a few reasons. 1. Depending on the floor you have in your home or fitness studio/gym, they can really scuff it up. 2. If you don't have enough core strength, don't use these yet. Build up your strength before you add equipment. I prefer my students to perfect their planks before they add sliders so they can hold the position effectively and safely. Once you make progress in your plank, lunge, etc...then go ahead and add these to your exercise routine. 3. Some people don't have great balance or coordination. With some students in my classes, I worry that they would slip or fall and injure themselves because they couldn't maintain their balance, alignment, or a leg or arm flew out from under them.

Otherwise, if your fit and healthy and know how to perform your exercises correctly, then go ahead and add these. You'll certainly feel the difference as you increase the effectiveness of bodyweight exercises and range of mobility.

Wow! I purchased two sets of these sliders (one in pink, the other in black) for my wife and I as we’re starting 80 Day Obsession. Whether you’re doing this workout or another of your own, these work great. They are holding up very well and really work your body, especially on core exercises. They’re a good size. They fit my wife’s smaller foot and my larger one. They aren’t too big for her or small for me. For those looking to get in shape, these really help in adding balance to exercises and they intensify other workout moves very well. I rate a perfect 5/5.

I usually don’t write reviews; however, this has to be said. I go to the gym frequently, and when I received these sliders, I was excited to use them the same day! On the box, it stated they can be used on hardwood and carpeted floors! My gym has low carpet, and it’s not like a carpet in a home. As you can see from my photos, the fabric is coming undone, and the padding is showing, I barely did anything, and I’m a small woman (5’2, 125lbs). I was doing lunges, the disc stopped midway, and I had to keep stopping throughout the exercise. I was very frustrated. I stopped using the sliders and just did regular lunges. I should have just brought my towels! I’m definitely getting a refund! Never again!

My "Must-Have" Exercise Equipment!

As someone that needs a low-impact workout that actually WORKS, my new pink Synergee Gliding Discs are the answer! I don't have a gym membership, but for the price of these amazing discs, I felt I had nothing to lose! I have a crushed vertebrae in my lower back, as well as a herniated disc in my upper back from an accident; I also needed double hip surgery 3 years ago and will need a full hip replacements at some point in the next few years.

I am definitely not overweight, however, I did have 3 children (my kids are still rather young), so I can definitely use some toning! There are several different exercises you can do with these great little discs. I get a nice workout for my abs, buns, and inner thighs, which is where I feel the need for the most "help". I've used these discs on my hardwood floors, laminate flooring, as well as several low pile area rugs, and they work beautifully on all of the surfaces I've mentioned. I haven't tried the discs on higher pile ("fluffier') carpet or stone/ceramic flooring, but can see how those types of flooring may give a bit more resistance, amounting to a tougher workout. These "wonder discs" most assuredly work out the areas I feel need more toning, while still being gentle on the areas I've had injuries/surgery. The size of these discs as well as being as lightweight as they are make them very convenient for traveling- they barely take up any room at all! I can even stash them in my handbag if I needed to! What other exercise equipment can you say that about? 😄
If you're a busy mom (or dad!) like me, or travel a lot for work or pleasure but still want to stay on an exercise regimen, these discs are the answer! They are my "Holy Grail" of exercise equipment. My only regret is not knowing about them/buying them sooner!

I got these for my wife when she started the 80 Day Obsession workout.
They came quickly and are exactly what she was looking for, especially the pink.
After seeing her use them a few days, I decided to give them a try to see just how sturdy they were.
I must say, these things are great! I used them in my gym on the short carpet floor and they slid nicely with my 180 lbs on them.
Then I flipped them over and tried them on hardwood floor, still slid along well. I was impressed.
SO after seeing the benefits and ease of use, I'm ordering a set for myself in a less feminine color.

Sucks on hardwood floors

The felt side faces down on hardwood and your feet go on the plastic side, so the problem I had is my feet keep slipping off, regardless of whether I used barefeet or running shoes. There are a few limited exercises you can, like with your hand, but I will need to buy another (I saw on an exercise website, they suggested using washcloths, so I tried that and they worked amazingly well). To add insult to injury, after emailing the seller I wasn't too happy, they replied that if I posted a positive review, they would send me a second set free. That's a shame, cause if sellers are bribing customers for positive reviews, then you can't trust the reviews.

I don't understand where the positive reviews come from. It's not even about the brand but the product in general. I bought it because I've heard about it being good for different exercises. But after trying to use it, I think it is good for one thing: injuries. I ended up using it as a mouse pad. I would definitely not recommend it for anything else. There are a million other better products that can help you exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle than this one. Don't be fooled!
