Using an inspired combination of geometric logic and metaphors from familiar human experience, Bucky invites readers to join him on a trip through a four-dimensional Universe, where concepts as diverse as entropy, Einstein's relativity equations, and the meaning of existence become clear, understandable, and immediately involving. In his own words: "Dare to be naive... It is one of our most exciting discoveries that local discovery leads to a complex of further discoveries."

It is quite interesting that none of these reviewers mention that this book is incomplete. The full book is available online and if you will notice, absent in this massive 876 page work are about 30-40 pages. Humans in Universe, 000.100 to 000.131 and 100.00 SYNERGY, 100.010 Awareness of the Child to 100.63 are missing. Pg. 3 of the print editions begins at 101.00 Definition: Synergy.
For a book that is supposedly "the clearest, most comprehensive attempt to explain the universe..." such a large chunk of prefatory exposition it would seem should at least be noticeably absent if not at least mentioned somewhere.
Also, this is not an easy book to read and there are whole pages out there on the web dedicated to reading it. I would begin there before purchasing a printed edition unless you are a collector.
