First, the only real, discernible positive aspect of this product: The non stick surface is very good. Better than my moms expensive calpahlon set. I can't really attest to how the nonstick surface will hold up, but the surface has impressed me so far.
Now, on to the long list of cons:
-The pots are smaller than I expected: The smaller frying pan has an identical diameter to similar pans, but its edges are flared/angled out to increase this number. In reality the actual bottom of the pan is much smaller than I expected. The smallest saucepan is itty bitty and I can't imagine using it for anything other than maybe hearing up a single serving of leftovers. It's pretty much useless. The largest sauce pan/pot is large in diameter, but it's walls are much lower than I expected. I'd, personally rather have a taller, narrower pot than a wider shorter one because of my small stove.
-The lids from the sauce pans do not fit the frying pans: Come on! I thought this was common sense in the cook set design world! What if I need to fry some bacon without getting grease everywhere? I either have to do it in a sauce pan (who on earth would want to do that) or purchase additional lids. I ended up purchasing another set of two lids, adding to the cost of this purchase. Every other cook set I have used has had lids that fit the sauce pans and the frying pans, even the cheap set from walmart that my roommate bought at my old place had this, and that set cost like $20.
-Either all the pans came in the mail warped, or the bottoms of the pans are not flat on purpose: In the photos I attached I illustrated this by filling the pans with some water. As you can see, the water gathers around the edges, because the middle parts of the pan are raised. Either mine are ALL defective, or someone at T-fal thought this was a good idea. It's not. If you put some olive oil in a pan to sauté some onions, all the oil goes to the edges of the pan and the center of the pan doesn't get lubricated. Want to fry an egg? All the eggs gather around the edges so they are thin and burn in the center and raw around the edges. The raised center causes dozens of problems, I could go on.
Information on the photos I've included:
- The first photo is of the two frying pans with some water in them to illustrate how the bottoms aren't flat, an liquids will collect around the edges before filling the center. The worst thing about these pans in my opinion.
- The second photo shows how short the largest pan is (yes that is the LARGEST pan). It is pretty wide (9.5" diameter), but not super wide. The photos T-fal put up are deceiving.
- The third photo is illustrating how small the bottoms of the frying pan are. The actual cooking surface diameter is 5.5"
Conclusion: Spend a little more money and get some bigger pans with flat bottoms and better lids.

We will be happy to provide a warranty evaluation. Please review the following explanation of issues that can occur with non stick cookware and potential ways to resolve them.
Most instances when the non-stick coating has lost its' non-stick properties, it is due to overheating of the pan. Cookware with non-stick coatings should be used on low to medium heat settings. One indication that your pan has been overheated is that your non-stick has turned a brown or rusty color. Overheating of the non-stick coating will cause the non-stick properties to break down. As a result you will find that foods are sticking to the cookware. Overheating voids the warranty. You may try to clean the non-stick coating with a mixture of baking soda and mild dish detergent using a soft cloth. Depending on the degree of overheating, this may help return some of the non-stick performance.
If there are digs, nicks or scratches to the non-stick coating from the use of metal utensils or sharp knives, this will affect the performance of the non-stick and will void the warranty.
Wearing away of the non-stick due to use of abrasive cleaners or scouring pads is not covered under the warranty.
If the non-stick appears to be flaking, but you do not see metal underneath, this may be due to residual oil build up on the pan. Oils hide within non-stick surfaces in places where they cannot be removed simply with soap and water. These oils burn during subsequent uses and create a layer that food can stick too and also can flake off. Sprinkle a bit of the baking soda into your pan. Add warm water and dish detergent to make a soupy solution. Use a soft cloth, plastic-looped scrubber, or a food-grade nylon scrubbing brush to agitate the debris in a circular motion. Rinse well with cold water and dry thoroughly to avoid spotting.
