BUYER BEWARE!
Expecting a red and black like-new TA970? Too bad, you're getting a dusty, very used asus mobo that isnt even the right form factor. It still has a little cpu fan attached. No clue what was going on when they shipped this. It even had a pellet of (mouse?) feces in the bottom. Disgusting and absurd.

to start off i was worried about buying a product that is so under the radar that it only has 2 reviews on amizon. but i am vary pleased with this product. on other sites it was stated to be to big for there case. this seems more like builder error not the mbos problem because it fit perfectly in my case and its one of the smaller mid towers you can buy. others also commented on quality and damage from the factory. the quality is fine i worked with it switching cards in and out to find the best configuration for max air flow nothing broke in fact nothing was damaged when my cat jumped into my build and layed down. it came from tiger direct perfectly ( the where the seller ) with no damage on the box or board.
pros looks cool in a thermaltake ms-i epic edition. the red and black works well with the case
the price is perfect or a budget oriented pc builder
cons
you loose some of the high end bells and wisles but if your on a budget it works well

This is a nice board , not too big for the PC case I have and it has easy to plug in features. I read alot of horror stories about this board , but so far it appears to be doing fine.

I was extremely excited to order and install this motherboard into my new build. Id say i was most excited about the colors considering im doing a panel build with leds. When i received if i was ecstatic, that is until i opened the box. It wasn't red and black. It is Black and Yellow. That is a serious issue and im contemplating getting my money back. Im sure the board works just fine but this isnt what i payed for.

Great BOARD, but not enough Fan Headers. I upgraded from a Gigabyte MA880 board, that had a gang of Fan Headers, this only has two (2) case fan headers, with the normal CPU fan header. My CPU cooler has two fans with separate fan connectors. My case has 5 fans, but I needed an upgrade and this was a great price point. I did some wire doctoring and got the most important fans connected, but cable management was abysmal. (The Case is an older Cooler Master CM690 ( http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower/cm690-nvidia-edition/ ). The board works GREAT. The Gigabyte board I replaced was 5 years old, and had seen better times.

This motherboard has been nothing but problems. Its bios is so fidgity. When i first recieved it, i was getting a 50% post rate. This thing had bent pins in the 4 pin power adapter on the board. until i figured that out i was getting random system turn offs with no BSOD or error codes so it was difficult to diagnose. I liked it being compatible with AM3+ and getting to use a 6 core processor, but to be honest. This was not a very good build for one of my customers. Tons of complains and teaking had to be done to get my customer to enjoy this rig. Save yourself the trouble since if you buy this through anyone other then amazon the manufactuerer is clueless. 0/5 mostly because of the terrible board. the rest was because the customer support is garbage. Suck it biostar

It's red in the picture but I got a yellow one.
