Very inexpensive (<$8).
Quite sharp out of the box.
Low visibility (mines the grey one)
Smooth assisted opening.
Smooth liner-lock closing.
Some wiggle in the blade - minor, but time will tell.
Clip position is fixed, I intend to remove it as I will not wear this knife as EDC.
The bottle opener cannot be used unless the blade is opened.
Time will tell how this knife holds up, but for $8 its worth four stars - five if it holds up for a year or so. I don't expect it to have the best steel in the world - I keep a Smith's sharpener in my truck - take an edge, do a job, sharpen again. The bottle opener is useless (dangerous) but that's not why I bought it. This knife is destined for the console of my truck. Were I comparing this to, for example, my Kershaw Cryo II, I'd give it 2 stars. That would be a very unfair comparison given the relative cost. As of this moment, if I lost it tomorrow I'd buy another. I consider this a very good value as an (almost) throw-away expendable tool.
There are a couple of negatives with this knife. Because it is spring assist, it is a little tougher to close than some knives. This should be expected, but I was a little disappointed that I can't close it one-handed. Also, the metal handle is nice, but do make the knife a little heavy and bulky, especially for daily carry. It will be great for outdoors use, though.
My EDC is a Kershaw Blur Tanto that I've carried for years, and absolutely love. It has some obvious wear at this point, but sharpens up great still, and feels sturdy. The Tac Force definitely doesn't have the same heavy duty feel, and there is quite a bit of blade flex vs the handle if you try and bend it manually.
But, for the $7.80 I paid for this knife, and my intended use, doesn't seem like a bad knife or deal at all. However, for a EDC knife there are lots out there of higher quality. Now with that said, most of my "every day" use is opening Amazon boxes, or cutting various random things around my office. It definitely has a use, but its not like I'm a emergency responder etc.
I read other reviews which complained about durability, but I've had no problems with any of the three I bought. The finish does scratch easily, but at this price, I'm happy that it functions so well and don't care if it isn't much to look at.
