5.0 out of 5 stars Essential item for Peloton cycle experience using cheap stationary bike
By Gary on August 11, 2019
I bought this TAOPE Ant+ Bluetooth Bike Speed Cadence Sensor for my “Peloton hack.” project to get the Peloton cycle experience using cheap stationary bike+ cadence sensor + Wahoo app+ Peloton Digital app. During class, Peloton instructors yell out what your “cadence” should be. having a cadence sensor is essential. So I bought this TAOPE sensor, which is far cheaper than Wahoo sensor, but surprisingly it can be recognized by Wahoo app.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works as advertised
By Curious Souls on March 26, 2019
The instructions, though sparse, were clear enough to get the sensor setup in Strava without issues. It helps to spin your crank manually when pairing so that the sensor can wake up and be seen by bluetooth.

Physical installation was simple on my crank.

I did not try this on speed mode, just cadence mode. I've never used a cadence sensor before but see the image for the results in Strava. The parts where cadence is zero are where I was approaching a stop sign, so that makes sense. An average of roughly one pedal per second seems like it's accurate on my casual morning commute.

I just installed it today, so I can't speak to the battery life.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best tracker for the price for speed or cadence
Reviewed in Canada on November 24, 2019
I just started cycling and wanted to be able to quantify my efforts. As i'm a beginner, I did not want to spend a lot of money initially for that purpose. So i found this one that is compatible with any devices, bluetooth or ANT. There is the two type of function available, cadence or speed!

Pros:
- Easy to install for speed or cadence
- Compatible with many devices
- cheap!

Cons:
- cannot do speed and cadence at the same time, but it's normal!
