How to Play Tapple!

Tapple

Take a category card from the stack and choose a category for the round. To start a round, announce the category and tap the timer button in the center of the TAPPLE wheel. On your turn, you have 10 seconds to name an answer for the category starting with an available letter on the TAPPLE wheel.

Tapple

Press the first letter of your answer, tap the button to reset the timer, and pass the turn. Letters pressed can no longer be used for the round, so the pressure mounts as letters are eliminated.

Tapple

Continue play until a player collects three cards and wins! For longer games, play to four, five or more!

    Really Fun Game
    We played this at a friend’s house and then ordered it for ourselves. We don’t always play fully by the rules because my six year old nephew doesn’t like timed games, but we still have a lot of fun with it. I like that there’s a compartment in the bottom to store the cards. It’s pretty sturdy too, so we didn’t bother keeping the box; we just put it in our game cabinet as is and it’s been fine.

      Such a fun game! If you are like us, you may already have a lot of games at home, but few that you actually reach for and play. I was looking for a game that would be easy to pack, learn and play with multiple ages and abilities and I found it!
      The game is small ish at 11 x 11 x 3 inches. This version takes 2 AA batteries. For the $19 cost, I did expect more playing cards. There are 36 cards, however there are 4 clues per card. I did LOVE that the cards are stored on the back of the game and so easy to access. I'm considering getting the smaller version that does not require batteries and only costs $9 and comes with the same number of cards. Either size you get, this will be hours of fun in the card, at the table or on a boat trip! Get it!
