Iconic Reverb Pedal with Groundbreaking MASH Footswitch and Shimmer Effect. Decay Sets the decay time of the reverb or ‘how long you actually hear the reverb’. This knob takes you from a natural room vibe to you playing in a cathedral in a canyon - in outer space. Tone Switch between bright and dark sounds and every nuance in between - crisp clarity or darker warmth? This knob also determines how ‘dominant’ the effect will be. FX Level The intensity of the effect - from a hint of echo to full-on, earth-shattering reverberation. Type Selector Here you select the reverb type - and with ten Reverb types at your disposal Hall Of Fame covers all reverb sounds known to mankind and leaves you room to add new ones.

The MASH function is really fun and the light changes brightness depending on how much pressure you're using (which is really great live). I was worried that it would be hokey and not really useful, but it's quite easy to use and vary up when playing live and the switch feels really sturdy.
The new shimmer setting is really cool too. Not quite as angelic as the one in the Strymon pedals, but it's quite close and you can go in and tweak that sound in the Toneprint editor to put it exactly where you want it.
Probably the coolest part of this pedal is the combination of three Toneprint slots and the editor. Each of the three control knobs can be set to control 3 different parameters in whatever way you like (in the original you could only change the Decay and Tone knobs). The editor allows you to tweak multiple parameters within the shimmer, reverb, modulation, and dry signal to make a totally custom sound (or tweak something from one of the regular algorithms). You can even map out how you want the MASH function to work (for three different controls) depending on the pressure you use.
If you love tweaking your sound then this is a dream and I highly recommend it. If you just want a simple reverb, this is still for you since you don't have to go in depth
