With that in mind, I purchased this Stack-On safe. It was delivered in perfect condition... not so much as a scratch and the contents were well secured. My wife and I had some issues getting this 550lb+ safe up the 1-foot step at our door, but once past that, it was smooth sailing. I would recommend a strong friend and some dowels or rods to roll the safe on.
The door is excellent... smooth, solid, and the combination lock spins nicely. There's a 1/8" gap around the door, which is a bit much, but far from the worst I've seen. The bolts are impressive and they extend 1-1/4", but only grab the jam with the last 3/4", which should be fine. The jam itself is a weak point as it's only 1/8" steel, but 'L'-bent to increase its durability. A bit disappointing since you have nice 1-1/2" bolts being held in place by 1/8" of steel.
The inside has a nice array of configuration options with the included six adjustable shelves. Fit and finish is a bit on the sloppy side, but I didn't buy it for its interior's looks. The rifle racks measure 36-3/4" from the floor to the bottom of the plastic rack. I've seen many other people complaining about this and other Stack-On safes, since various rifles are 36" or shorter. Since I have a 36" Colt AR-15 and 37" Ruger 10/22, my solution was to simply mount one of the shelves on the bottom, so all my rifles could reach the rack and giving me a few inches of space underneath the shelf for storage.
I set the interior up for half rifles and half shelves, however I'm certainly not going to fit 14 rifles in there... maybe 7-8 at best. I've got six in there now (4 tactical rifles, one scoped hunting rifle, and a 10/22) and I should be able to get one more rifle in the back. Any tighter, and I'd have to remove each rifle to access the ones in the back, which wouldn't be convenient.
The storage configuration on the door is a good idea, but not well implemented. It comes with six handgun holders and two medium-sized pouches with zippers to be arranged on three Velcro strips. There are also 12 handgun magazine elastic loops, two mesh pockets, and one large 12"x13" pocket with Velcro closure permanently attached to the door. The pockets work well, but the elastic magazine loops are a bit tight for double-stack magazines, and the handgun holsters aren't very secure. I placed a Beretta 92FS in one and it flops around quite a bit as the door opens and closes and I can hear the 'popping' of the Velcro slowing coming off. I don't trust it enough to hold any full-sized handgun, although compacts seem ok. I think they would have been far better off with something other then a Velcro arrangement... such as pegboard, or better yet, a MOLLE system of loops so you can add whatever equipment you want.
Lastly, my only other complaint is regarding the shelves... six 15-1/2" x 12-1/4" shelves made from 1/2" MDF. They're secured with plastic shelf supports. I'm a woodworker who deals with MDF all the time... 1/2" MDF will not support much weight and will bend over time with even a moderate amount of weight. I plan to store ammunition on the shelves, so I'll be replacing them with 3/4" plywood and getting some metal shelf supports from Home Depot. The carpeting on the shelves is only attached at either end, so I'll have no problem reusing it to make them look like the original shelves.
Overall, I'm very happy with it. It won't keep out the determined burglar familiar with breaking into safes, but since the likelihood of someone breaking into my home who knows how to break into this safe, but doesn't know how to break into a $2,000 Liberty safe is so slim, I'm happy with what I purchased. This safe, along with a false wall to hide it, is perfect for me. I highly recommend it.
