This product is crap. I would give it zero stars if that ...
on January 3, 2015
I almost always use my iPod for playing music, but I own tons of CDs and not all of them are on my iPod so I bought this TEAC CD player to use as a back up for those songs that aren't loaded on my iPod.
This product is crap. I would give it zero stars if that was an option. When I first got it the CD player worked, though it always sounded like it was struggling to find the music on the CD. It was clunky and LOUD. But it worked, and I settled for that. I have used it very sparingly since buying it close to a year ago. At one point it went 4 or 5 months between uses.
Then at XMAS time, when playing my XMAS CD's I had to give up on it. Constant skipping of songs, repeating, etc. drove me crazy. (Thankfully Amazon Prime had XMAS tunes for me to play!!)
Since then I bought a 2 CD set of old African music that can't be downloaded so I bought the CD's. The TEAC -D2610 5 Carousel Changer simply would not work for me. Boo!
I paid over $100 for this hunk of junk, and I would estimate I haven't played more than 8-10 hours of music on it.
In a word: AVOID this gadget. It is easily the worst purchase I have made on Amazon, and I spend a lot of of money there.
