Bought these for work... Had really high hopes for them since they had basically a 5 star rating. I wish I had read more of the reviews that people wrote. So I have bondhus allens also and the ball end on these is pathetic. It has a flat in the middle of the ball which doesn't let it engage the way it should all the way up to the advertised 25 degrees. I would say you get 5 to 10 degrees max of angle. Have no comment about their longevity as I haven't seriously used them much yet. Annnnnnnnnnd probably will not use them. Backups they will be if I can't find my other set. Spend the money on Bondhus! Seriously its only $12 more for the best you can buy...Smashing head into my desk now. Tekton Angle on left and Bondhus angle on right.

Work on CNC Machinery, love having good tools. Would not buy this set again. The numbers wore off on the front of each case pretty quick so for someone trying to hand you a tool it kind of sucks because they don't know what is what until they look at the shaft. Also bent my 6mm like a gosh darn banana. Would not buy these ever again. Go with Eklind or better yet Bondhus. Bondhus allen keys are the best. cost a little bit more but worth every penny.

I gotta say, I had high hopes for these. But the ball side of it just doesn't do what it's expected (allow you to hit the bolt at an angle and still unscrew), at least not for me. They're fantastic as a normal set of hex keys, and maybe the piece that I had to take apart (an IKEA bed with the stupidest system for attaching the pieces together that I've ever seen) had more than a 25 degree angle, but the ball side just didn't work for me.

However, I'm overall happy with my purchase, as we needed a new set of hex keys anyway! :)

I've probably tried 3 or 4 different types of hex wrench sets and there was always something where they came up short in actual use.

I have hex sets that fold out like a knife. But those are awkward if you do any amount of twisting,...you have to twist the bulky handle that houses all the other folded wrenches. I've had sets with no ball on the end and yes they do get the job done but you've got to make sure the hex is inserted directly into the bolt or problems when turning. Sometimes that's not possible.

These hex ball ends dynamite. Well engineered with a great case with helpful features. These Tekton's are perfect for fitting into any situation where a straight in attack is not possible. Comes with both the metric & english sizes in their own case with sizes clearly printed on the hinged fold out flat case. Nice! Best case I've ever seen for hex wrenches. Plus the wrenches are a little longer than standard hex wrenches which makes life easier in most situation.

BOTTOM LINE: I paid 19$ retail for metric set only. To get BOTH Metric/English for less & free shipping is a nice bargain. Easily EARNS 5-STARS.

These allen wrenches are extremely well made. I've abused mine a considerable amount and they have yet to bend, strip out, or even chip the finish (unless this is somehow made of dark steel - Batman's favorite material). They work great and I like the swivel arm on the front small set. This arm makes it very useful in pulling out the wrench I need.

Even my 5yr old daughter found them interesting - pulling every single one out of its space. I told her that she now got the opportunity to put them all back where they belong. She was able to do it within a couple of minutes. Easy to use, easy to keep together, well made.

I purchased this item after doing quite a bit of research online and comparing prices on Amazon and other sites. This item was NOT A FREE SAMPLE.

I bought these for three reasons: it's a full set of metric and conventional, it's also a very long set of wrenches (which means more reach), and the ball-heads on the long stems mean you can access your nuts from many angles. The cool cases are a bonus that I also like, though the real value here is in the wrenches.

Before buying these I tried to find a good deal at my local hardware stores, but this set on Amazon ended up being better quality (ball heads + long) and cheaper. So it's a nice deal.

I needed a 7/64 Allen wrench. The small sets do not have that size. I found this deal. I got all the English sizes plus the metric sizes at a very fair price. The ball ends are very handy. I am sure that these are the last Allen wrenches I will ever buy.
