Product Description
Calibrated to an accuracy of +/ 4%, the TEKTON 1/2 in. Drive Click Torque Wrench lets you work with confidence, eliminating guessing and the common tendency to overtighten fasteners. Correctly tightening fasteners to a vehicle or equipment manufacturer's torque specifications ensures parts are properly secured without being damaged. Simple and easy to use, this wrench has a reversible ratcheting head that drives fasteners in both directions and measures torque in the clockwise direction. To measure torque, set the desired value on the handle scale (foot pounds or Newton meters) and begin tightening the fastener. When the preset torque value is reached, a reliable mechanical operation inside the handle produces a click you can hear and feel, alerting you to stop applying force. Built for consistent performance and years of dependable service, the mechanical design doesn't need batteries, and the allsteel construction has no plastic parts to break or wear out.
IMPORTANT: This wrench is shipped precalibrated and ready to use. To help maintain calibration, store at its lowest setting of 10 ft.lb./13.6 Nm when not in use. Be sure to read and understand the operator's manual, including all safety information, before first use.

Update: I'm an idiot. When I'm wrong I admit it and I was most definitely wrong in this case. When I was setting the torque value I was setting one setting too high which isn't hard to do, the markings are a little ambiguous but once I figured out to set it at the very bottom of the torque value it worked like a charm.

This product performed exceptionally well out of the box. Tested with a 1.5% average tolerance. Product is rated as +/- 4%.
Will test again after 6 months of use and proper storage to see how well it keeps its calibration.
*** Updated 8/6/2018 *** It's longer than 6 months I know 8P
I've used this wrench over a dozen times over the last 2 years. I've always been careful to unload (set to zero) the wrench after each use and store in original case. I'm happy to report that after 29 months and no adjustments the test results from the wrench have NOT significantly changed and still fall within 2% +/- tolerance. ISO standards are normally +/- 4%, so the wrench is still twice as accurate as industry standards.

After writing this review I tried to return the unit after the return period expired. After contacting the company they explained that if you MUST store the torque wrench at it's lowest setting, not below which it is possible that I did. I always thought it should be set below any settings to keep it loose but they said not below lowest torque setting or it can lose it's calibration. They sent me a new one which I just received. I don't use them everyday but I will update on if it does work on low torque setting later.
Top reviews from other countries

As previous guys here in the UK have mentioned before in some reviews, this torque wrench is specifically designed for the American market and is therefore geared towards the Imperial system as oppose to the Metric one that we use here in Europe and other parts of the world.
However, this did not put me off from purchasing the Torque Wrench as I needed a 1/4 size one to compliment my tool set. As a regular user of tools and the measurements required with those, I had no issues myself doing the conversions for the exact settings. I can understand though that some people may actually be put off from purchasing this tool for that reason alone.
Other reviewers had also noted that a calibration certificate is not being issued with the device, which I can confirm is true, but luckily I managed to test my device with other similar devices that some of my friends own and it was near enough spot on during these tests. This is possibly the only negative I would of given towards the purchasing of this product, but any recalibration of this device can actually be achieved quite easily via the way the wrench is built and designed, whilst there are loads of YouTube videos out there to show you. If your not competent enough to do this yourself, then please use the services of a professional service to do this for you.
The measurement scale settings via the instructions are provided should you experience any issues or difficulties trying to work out the conversions from IN-LB to Nm. As with most if not all torque wrenches unless specified, make sure that when not in use, that they are stored at the lowest settings possible to maintain and keep their accuracy.
I done some research about the Tekton company in general for a couple of days reading online forums namely Auto and Tools related ones, before going full tilt and making the purchase. In all fairness I can't be more happier and satisfied with the choice that I made. Tekton the company themselves offer a lifetime guarantee on their products and tools which is an excellent added bonus, and thankfully I will not need to contact them in the foreseeable future!!! Regarding their return procedure its just a case of taking photos and proof of purchase via email and they deal with the rest.
I have included some photos of the product along with the inbuilt measurement scale settings on both sides of the wrench as well as the instructions that came with the whole package etc...
