What's in the box
From the manufacturer
-
180° Flex Head
The flex head sweeps smoothly through 180 degrees without any set positions. This allows the wrench to ratchet freely at any angle and navigate around obstructions in its swing path.
-
6-Point Box End
- The 6-point box end provides an exact fit and maximum contact for hex fasteners.
- To prevent rounding off fasteners, the box end grips the flat sides of fastener heads, rather than the corners.
-
Reach Over Long Fasteners
Slip the box end over long threads to quickly ratchet fasteners that you can't reach with other tools.
-
72-Tooth = 5° Swing Arc
The 72-tooth ratchet gear requires only 5 degrees of swing arc to reach its next tooth position, making it ideal for working in tight spaces.
-
Precisely Cut Gear Teeth
The ratchet gear is cut, rather than press-formed, to create precise teeth that fully engage with the pawl and won't slip under high stress.
-
Angled Open End
The open end is angled 15 degrees so the wrench can be flipped over with each rotation and engage the fastener twice as often.

For the price (much less than other brands) and considering it will be used twice a year then I guess it will do. It feels inferior to the Goodwrench, the "action" isn't as smooth - but it works.
So outside of that, I cant really complain about anything else so far. The tool seems well built and actually the flex head is stiffer than the GW which I really like, they stay where you want them better. The finish is nice and they have no burrs or rough parts that were missed. The ratcheting mechanism seems good and has not slipped or got jammed up on me yet, but I will say it has some play in it if your sliding it in and out which makes me think they might break and slip out like my GW ones. It would be nice if they could get that more snug.
So far it has been a good tool with no issues.
UPDATE 1-16-21.
Still have not had a issue and am going to order a couple more singles to replace more GW ones that broke. People stick up for GW because it's a popular name not because they are that good. Anyone who actually uses tools daily would tell you they are decent but certainly not great, and if you've noticed they have changed there warranties from lifetime guarantee to warrantied for manufacturing defects and if you break one now you will have to walk through he** and back to get them to replace it, because obviously they realized way to many are breaking to he able to replace them.
Now I am by no means saying these here will last forever and are top quality, I'm just saying for the price they are absolutely worth it and THUS FAR, I have not had one break on me but I also have bit even had them a full year yet, but they are a good tool.
I am slowly building up my Tekton tool supply as more and more tools I try from them have been great for the price.
First tekton tool I bought was in 2016 and it was a 1/2" torque wrench, still works perfectly and is very accurate.
PLEASE Tekton stay humble and dont skyrocket your prices as you get more popular like that other brand did

Cons: gear wrench has perfected this style wrench and most others have not. The ratcheting mech is just not reliable like a gear wrench. I’ve never ever had a gear wrench fail yet just about every other brand failures are somewhat common with gears slipping or breaking tekton is one of those brands. I would stick with gear wrench my metric set DID NOT include an 18MM wrench which is nuts as it’s soo common!!! So buying one of these here or there to fill in gaps is a good buy. For this style wrench gear wrench is the only good buy and in a set you can get them for very cheap. Buying them solo isnIt cheap and tekton is about half the price.
