Glossory numbers in the back do not correspond with the pages in the book. Large print, easy to read, but if you are trying to locate something in the book it is a treasure hunt.

This book has very little information if you are trying to find out where to stay. I suppose it is better for things to do but I don't find it very user friendly or appealing to the eye.

The book was really astounding. The book was like a travel guidebook but with the author personal experiences, which made it complete. The book was truly complete for every aspect when it came to traveling to the Florida Keys. The author explained about how to get there and how much it will cost you according to your transportation choice; flight or car. The author also wrote about the best time to go there and the average temperature, which I found really helpful because some people would prefer a warm weather for vacation just like me. For the most part of the book, the author wrote about the attractions in the Florida Keys such as the beaches, the market, and the national park. What I really liked about this was how the author mentioned every detail that was necessary for tourists like the opening hour for the national park and how many tours were offered daily. She even explained what was sold at the market! This book was truly wonderful; it was complete with everything and the author helped to save your time by doing the research for you. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to travel to the Florida Keys.

This travel guide to the Florida Keys was great! It made me want to book a vacation right now to Key West! I really want to see Hemingways six-toed cats. I thought the book was written very honestly. For instance, one of the Keys has an aquarium and the author gives a very honest review, where he basically says to save your money, skip it and enjoy the natural Floridian habitat on view for free. I also liked how the book first gives an overview of the Keys, then is broken up island by island, so there is more detail given once the traveler has a more definitive idea of which Key to visit in mind, especially food to discover! The pictures at the end where even more enticing! I liked the fauna and flora and I enjoyed the list of endangered species that the Keys are home to at the end of the book. I hope to see a few species, like the Florida Panther and the Key Deer. I also liked the attention to the history of the islands. This was a fun travel guide.

As someone who has visited the Florida Keys on several occasions I found Terrance Talks Travel: A Pocket Guide to The Florida Keys informative, accurate, and to be a wonderful resource for anyone looking to visit the Florida Keys. I was pleased to see my favorite beach (Bahia Honda) mentioned, and my husband was happy to find a recipe for conch chowder. This guide doesnt only cover Key West as so many other guides do but guides the reader through the upper, middle, and lower keys all the way down to Key West. It includes historical facts as well as a guide to wildlife in the Everglades and the keys. There are many different recommendations for restaurants and attractions which tourists may visit and enjoy their time in the Florida Keys.

The pictures were relevant and colorful which added context to the text. The websites mentioned are all active and full of information. The author even took great care as to mention the weather, best times of the year to travel, and when hurricane season starts. I would recommend this book to anyone who is even thinking about visiting the Florida Keys.

This book is a delightful and informative read. For those wishing to travel to the Florida Keys it is a must read. If you had not planned on traveling there you could very well decide to after reading this. As well as traveling information, a history and fun facts are included. You will find maps and enticing photos. Terrance Zepke has told you the best way to get there. She has covered many fun things to see and do. There is something for everyone but you do need to leave the stress at home. A sample itinerary is there for you to follow or get ideas from. There is a just for fun section that includes a quiz and how to talk to locals. There are resources, special dates and events given to help your planning. A definite fun read for those planning their vacation or just wanting to know more about the Florida Keys. Terrance Zepke certainly writes an intriguing book that will have you packing your bags.
