fits the hyperx solocast mic fine seems like it will work fine. first one they sent me is in the pic and was corroded so bad the threads weren't even there anymore. then i had to pay almost 9 dollars shipping to return it which really sours the experience for a 10 dollar item.in the end it works fine fits the mic i got it for fine amazon's return charge tho can suck it

    Just getting around to using this after about a month since purchasing.
    Tried today to do a simple recording of guitar with an Audio Technica at3035.
    Basic low budget mic, most definitely not anything too heavy as far as the weight of the microphone compared to others.
    This mini tripod is not going to hold up a microphone properly if you're trying to use the wing nut to secure your microphone in a particular position.
    You can tighten it down as much as you'd like. And your microphone is still going to not hold position and move on you, if it doesn't fall over from being top-heavy.
    All tightening screws on this tripod won't tighten down hard/ tight enough to really hold the positions that the tripod needs to, to be used properly.
    Alot of good reviews on this.
    I don't think anybody's really truly getting any real usage out of this besides setting it on a desk.
    Even that is precarious as the weak mic tripod legs and stature won't allow this tripod enough security to hold up a mic properly.
    The wing nut that tightens the microphone mount, won't allow you to tighten it enough actually hold a microphone in any other position then straight up and down.
    Making it basically worthless when it comes to real recording applications like possibly wanting to hold your microphone up at a diagonal stance.
    This little microphone stand isn't manufactured properly and doesn't have the girth to hold even my lightest microphone....At least not with any confidence. The slightest bump or jolt and this tripod is tipping over from being top-heavy.

    For me it was a total waste of money I need something that actually works the way it's described.
    I'll take part of the blame, you do get what you pay for.
