You have to read these books! The storyline is so creative and refreshing to read something a little different but very hot and erotic. This book had me laughing out loud at Blake and some of his antics. He is so alpha male and yet sometimes so funny, sensitive, and romantic. Can't wait for the third book to see how Blake and Jen's story end.

Seriously THAT MAN! Wowza! Okay, I'm happy to say that That man 2 does NOT end in a cliffhanger, however I want more! I'm pleased to say I was right and Bradley Wick DDS aka Dickwick was cheating on Jennifer, it was pretty obvious. However I'm saddened by Jennifer's fear that being with Blake makes her feel uncomfortable him being her boss is bad, him kinda sorta taking advantage of her newly single status makes her think rebound, then of course him being Mr. Hook-Up REALLY doesn't help, he's clueless when it comes to the more sensitive sides and any kind of relationship. As with That Man 1, four stars, not a brilliant piece of work, but I'm loving it all the same and I recommend this book as well as the first!

This was an ok overall series to read. There was things that I liked and disliked about.

As you read the books (series) you could tell how and where the story was going to go… Example (small spoiler alert…sorry not the norm) This comes from Book 1 when Jennifer was on the one set, the author described the director of the show that was filming on the set as being a big PITA. I knew something horribly wrong was going to happen and guess what something almost did…Then in book 2 about Jennifer’s ex … I can go on… The story line of all of the books seemed very expectant. I was just surprised that the author didn’t insert a conflict scene between Jennifer and one of Blake’s K team flings.

Then all mentioning about other authors I wasn’t thrilled about that and to me it was unnecessary. Unless this author was trying her best a promoting other authors, I really couldn’t say.

This series seemed to have a bunch of cheating more so with Jennifer’s ex than with Jennifer. And Blake…Oh, goodness.

Heated scenes and the banter between Blake and Jennifer was good…overall 3.5 stars

it's actually a short story that has something to keep you interested. I like nelle l'amour and I cannot wait to read the third book as well.
maybe i would have enjoyed it much more if there were 1 good book and 3 short ones and launched so much time apart.

I am posting this review for the entire That Man Trilogy, YOU HAVE TO READ THIS TRILOGY... YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! I was blown away by this sometimes funny, emotional, passionate, and so absolutely HOT book!

What begins as a game of Truth or Dare and a blindfolded earthshaking kiss evolves into a story that will tug your hearts and put an extra bounce in your step. Our author takes a rake/womanizer/player, Blake, and throws him for a loop by pairing him with a drop dead gorgeous, intelligent, professional woman, Jennifer, that will steal his heart and soul. How these two endearing characters bridge the gap from their opposite sides of the spectrum of love, makes for an enjoyable and delightful read. By the way, I loved Grandma and Yiddish sayings. In addition, I will never look at a breakfast of pancakes and sausages, with plenty of maple syrup, the same way again. They used an ENTIRE bottle of maple syrup and none of it on the pancakes!

Lucky for me all three parts of this trilogy are available for reading all in a row. After finishing Part One, there was no way I could wait to read the rest of the story. I can proudly say I read all three parts in one day and loved it.

Nelle L'Amour, I have read a couple of your books but I have seldom relished a book the way I did this trilogy. Thank you for your sense of humor, your humanity, your sensibility, and most of all for your storytelling gift.

I enjoyed reading part 2 I laughed so much, although I'm not quite used to books I buy being so sizzling hot, but the story was very entertaining. I am very glad that Blake got there in time to save Jennifer from such a sleaze ball. I do wish she had pressed assault charges against him. I'm about to read the 3rd book in this series because I hope the sleazy guy goes to jail before he really hurt someone else, my guess is he may come after Jen again for revenge. I recommend this trilogy. Although I had purchased all 3-Trilogy books & when I started to read That Man -1 I realized I had read it already, because it was in my (Love & laughter Comedy boxed set).

The story continues with a rescue and a reveal of an incident from Jen's past. Blake was such a naughty bad boy… it was funny/sexy how he took advantage of Jennifer’s caring nature when he was sick. The Vegas trip had an unexpected, funny twist for Blake. There was enough humor… those ladies spotting Blake at the erotic book signing convention! And of course, Blake screws up again.

I enjoyed his antics. He was not as controlling as other alpha males, which is a plus, but his immaturity with the other women bothered me. However, Jennifer continued to be a badass at her position. What she had planned to improve the programming at SIN-TV was interesting and exciting. I really liked that she was not a weak character.

Blake manages to wedge himself between Bradley and Jennifer by a discovery that he reveals in a bad way. Jennifer is relatable and likable and how she handles the revelations had me liking her even more. Way to go, Jen!

This one ends in another cliffhanger that takes the drama up a notch. I’m looking forward to book 3 and how the author will resolve this.
