I have MS and I'm unable to get up if I need to get down to the floor to grab something without using my knees. I bought these so that if I need to get down to get into a cupboard or something I have the padding on my knees and they are easy to put on since they are Velcro. Without them I would have to call for help to get up. They are a lifesaver for me and I'm sure very comfortable for people needing comfort who work on the floor

This set of Thunderbolt knee pads are the most wonder knee pads I have ever used. The first time I put this set on and knelt down I had to look to make sure the pad had not fallen off. It was that darn comfortable, soft, and well fitting set of knee pads. With the shape of the pads I had great stability and no shifting side to side. The knee pads stayed in place. It felt like I had knelt on gel, memory foam, a cloud, and cotton all rolled into one. My only complaint is that after many hours of continuious use the straps start irritating the back side of the knees. So wearing of pants and periodic breaks from the pads are almost a must.

I had a double knee replacement a little over a year ago. Mostly good, but still a bit painful to kneel. But I often have to kneel to do things around the house or get down on the ground or on all fours to do or look at something. With these I can kneel and get back up comfortably. Have not had them long enough to comment on durability, but so far they are doing the job and I am happy!

When I went to order them again they did not carry them anymore so I purchased these instead. These are okay but the problem I have is they tend to slip below my knee. Especially the right one. Never had the issue with the previous pair so this is why it got 4 stars instead of 5

I ordered these knee pads as they had good reviews and looked the part. Unfortunately I was let down. The build quality seems good with nice stitching and good padding but after 30 minutes wearing them they had to come off! Currently laying over 500 square meters of block and brick pavers so needed some good knee pads but the double strap approach just cuts in to the back of your knees. Maybe its because I'm in shorts ? But none the less very uncomfortable. I cut the top strap off which has made them comfortable enough to wear and now resembles the style of my £4.99 lidl knee pads which lasted over a year and were extremely comfortable. So unfortunately I wouldn't recommend them. 2 stars awarded for the high quality of materials used

My first impression is that I really like these knee pads, as they don't seem to slide down my legs, which is a first for me. The design really seems to be a bit different to all other types of knee pads, by having two straps, that keeps them in place. As I feel bare without knee pads when I'm working, its important that they are comfortable & these do, as I forgot that they were on. The other thing I liked was that they came with Velcro extensions, which means that any one can wear them & they are quick to don or remove. One slight issue would be concerning the rubber tread, which is quite hard & I would be a little reluctant to use them on a hard wood floor, as I think they would inadvertently damage it. But as I say this is only a very slight concern & they more than meet my expectations. Also, I have been wearing these a lot over the last few weeks & they have really proved there worth, so much so I would be lost without them. I suppose this justifies why I bought them & would not hesitate I acquiring replacements in the future.

A Must for Old Peoples Knees

I've had a bad knee for about three years, but noticed that I found kneeling down not only hard to do, but made my knee hurt for days after. I had already got an indoor kneeler, but needed that extra bit of support.
Then I remembered that people on buildings sites wore knee pads for floor tiling and other jobs that needed long time kneeling.
Having read about other kneeling pads, these seem to get a good review from all ages, so I ordered these.
They are wonderful. Kneeling down you can feel the Cushing which is thick but soft enough to not upset the knee. I use them for all jobs now that would have been painful, and there is an added bonus in that there is an extension strip for knees bigger than mine. I wear them on top of jeans, so my tip is to put them on slightly above the knee so the weight settles them on the knee.

OMG these are amazing. When you're wearing these you don't feel like you're kneeling down. This impressed me a lot. Now I've only just got them so this review is based on initial use. I will add to this review later. The build looks good but I'm a little concerned with the stiching around the pad itself. I'd read a few reviews before I purchased and contacted the company to confirm they would be replaced if faulty so I'm safe to use away. I do think the positioning on the knee is important as to not put all the strain on certain parts of the pads especially the stiching. Time will tell so watch this space. I truly hope they stand the test of time because wow they are comfortable on the knees.

Good points are they’ll probably be hard wearing, they are comfy and provide good cushioning. However they don’t stay in place, dropping to your ankles after minimal walking/stooping/kneeling, but to be fair this plagues most of these gel type pads because the gel makes them too heavy and due to a thing called gravity renders they become effective ankle pads. These Thunderbolts have a further defect in that the Velcro straps have stretched prematurely- ie after just 2 weeks of use which means they’re even more difficult to keep in place.
