Do you know how hard it is to find men's knee boots? Pretty hard. I looked all over from store to store. Even sporting goods stores didn’t have them. They had fishing boots and items like that but no boots for the garden for men. My husband is constantly in the yard or garden and because we have a low water table, when it rains hard or for a while, the yard gets soaked and ordinary tennis shoes will not work. We don’t want to ruin another pair of expensive work boots so I started my hunt. It was great to be able to find these. We got them and they are true to size. They don’t have to look runway quality to work in the yard nor would my husband enjoy such detail but they do exactly what they are supposed to. Keep his feet - up to his calves - dry and this product fits the mark! Not only are these great but they are durable and do the trick when the yard is a mess with rain and dirt. I wasn't sure what to expect but I would recommend anyone getting these. Again, I personally like to have the runway look but they are easy to find in all the shoe stores. For my husband, this is exactly what he wanted and if the pickiest man with the simplest taste loves them then they are A-one in my book. Great quality and value. A++

Why 2 stars, it does not last long and I had bought 2 pairs of these over the years. I had a CC something brand from here and it lasts well over a year for about half the price. This only lasts a year and then the seams bust. If you use your boots often, like for daily ranch work where there is mud, it does not last. I like something I can slip on real fast and just do the work. I walked maybe 1/16 mile a day in them and never did anything but throw hay and fill water buckets, so really they should last longer. Will not buy again

Great Boots...For Women Order 2 Sizes Smaller In Mens

I am writing this mainly for women who need good muck boots and were wondering about sizing on these.........I am a size 10 (womens), so I ordered a size 8 and they are a perfect fit, so I would recommend just getting 2 sizes smaller in these mens than your size, at least that worked perfect for me.......I can wear a thick sock, and even with a thin sock they are still very wearable. They are very sturdy and look and feel like they will last for years. No more fear of stepping in cow pies for me! :)

I bought these boots for dog walking in tick infested areas, as recommended by our state's Cooperative Extension Service. This is the second summer I've worn them and I think they've helped quite a bit. (If only they were available for dogs.) I added foam insoles and they're comfortable for walks of over a mile, twice a day. The soles are starting to wear down after two summers and I will purchase a new pair for next spring.

While other reviewers mentioned fitting problems, I ordered my regular shoe size and the boots fit fine. I guess those other reviewers have weird feet. The boots slip on and off as easily as can be expected for a tall boot. They aren't lined, so they aren't warm. But I didn't expect them to be. Just put on warmer socks. On the plus side, if any moisture does get in, in my case from sweaty feet, the boots don't take a week to dry out like a lined, insulated or padded boot. I've had a problem finding boots that last for more than a short time. I wear them for daily walks with the dog and other boots usually last only a few months before they are no longer water proof. I've only had these a week, so time will tell if they last any longer than their predecessors. But I got what I expected, so I'm good.

I've been needing high waterproof boots for when I take my dogs outside in bad weather. These are perfect! Others have had unfortunate troubles with sizing these, but I guess I scored luck when I ordered my Mens 11M. I am a woman with bigger feet - I usually wear 11 or 12 in womens. Boots in general are sized with a little extra breathing space because heavy duty socks can be warm to keep your feet insulated. There is ample room for my feet and calf, no pinching or rubbing, but they still stay on well. These boots are exactly as described, PVC, not super thick, not warm, not stylish, and not made with comfort in mind. I wouldn't wear these all day without buying special inserts for them, but for my trips outdoors for a few hours, they function great. Extremely happy with this purchase. Best price out there for the quality, and delivery was super fast.

I bought these in a size 11 which is my size for boots and shoes. The Tingley site says the sizing is very accurate - and it is! They are the perfect fit and one of the best rubber boots I ever purchased.

However - I would suggest you but these one size larger. The reason is that the size is so accurate that I find it difficult to put on/off as the ankle area seems to be very tight when putting on. Once my foot was inside the size was comfortable, but I think a size 12 would be better.

I would buy these again as they are very well made. Tough, thick rubber and not slipery at all. In addition the bottom has a little soft material which is a nice touch if you wear these without any socks.

The boots work well for agriculture type work, large garden, working in the rain etc. I wish they had half sizes though but since they seem to run just a tiny bit on the small size I was able to get the next size larger and be able to work well with that. I bought another pair a size smaller last year and used them for a year before a tiny crack got into the top of the foot area. For the price I think it is a good deal, and if I had not wanted a larger size I probably would have just put gorilla glue on the tiny crack instead of replacing them.
