How to use the crystal singing bowls?
One should strike the outside of the bowl, in an upright position, giving about half the length of the wand to the bowl surface near the top rim, then "follow the sound around the bowl, " with the wand or mallet, enhancing the duration and loudness of the tone. Each practitioner has a unique style of sounding the bowls. Some will move the wand or mallet clockwise for specific intentions, while others prefer a counter-clockwise motion, or a combination.

Beautiful but shattered after being played a few times...

I purchased one white bowl and one green bowl. The white one has been used a 2 to 3 times, the green was used approximately 5 to 10 times, and it "exploded" in my sons hand while using it. There were glass shards all over the room. We were fortunate it did not end up in his eye or anyone else in the room because the glass went quite a distance. I tried to reach out to the seller with an email and a picture attached but almost two weeks later I have not had any response. They are beautiful to look at, and I hope this was a one time problem because it sounded beautiful. We will stick to the Brass Bowls from now on.
