Aiden & Jen super couple extraordinaire OMG!!!!
I received a copy as a ARC reader if I could give more stars I would!!! I also purchased the book because I wanted to support my author...Loved the characters Aiden is a true alpha male & Jen is as feisty as they come. Terri George just gets better every book if you are looking for real life scenarios with a bit of a twist this author will become your go to these are strong characters & if you purchased The Frost Trilogy it's like old friends coming home... (If you didn't shame on you buy it too)
Awesome twist in the end folks buy this book ....I loved it can't say that enough I'm bad about giving away plots and spoiler alerts so I'm shutting up. But by this book!!!!!
While they do get a happy ending, they have to work through some obstacles, both internal and external, to get there. And it forces both characters to grow and risk their hearts. The sex is hot and steamy. You've been warned. The story is set in London and there are lots of English phrases and slang, which I quite enjoyed, but the author gives us a glossary just in case. I think it was important that Jen's dialogue was written that way. How she speaks is so much of who she is.
This is the fourth book I've read by this author and I'm really enjoying her work. Sexy, romantic, funny, heartwarming. Great dialogue, strong leads, engaging secondary characters, everything you want in a romance. I'm looking forward to reading more from Terri George
When we meet Jen and Aiden, they have known each other for a little while. Their best friends are dating one another. Both of these two feel a deep and instant attraction, but the timing was always off. Neither could be single at the same time. So, when it finally happens, they develop a good relationship. But what is a romance without some sort of drama, right? They definitely have their go with it.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t feel this book. I liked the characters ok, but it was just hard for me to get into the book. There were several points where I just wanted to smack everyone because no one said anything, everyone wanted to keep secrets and yet they all would stay butt-hurt over everything. This isn’t a BAD book, so don’t think that. It was an ok book, it just wasn’t my cup of tea. If everyone wrote books that only I would like, there would be a lot of people upset in this world.
Ms. George writes about the intimate details of a person’s life, so that their socio-economic status doesn’t really come into play. She writes simply about a man and a woman and their emotional connection. And while, I really wished I could have gotten into the book because the nice guy really does win in this one, I just couldn’t. But that’s not a problem with Ms. George’s writing. It’s just not a style I get into.
