Good grip, good looks, good protection

This is not an armored case, so you won't get a ton of protection for the screen. It is what it is: an excellent slim case. I was wary at first that it might slip off or the material wouldn't look good - nope! The case fits snugly, the clear material showcases the phone itself, and it won't crack over time like hard cases.
Where this case really shines is its texture. I used to drop my phone frequently with my old hard case. It was too slick. While this case is smooth, the soft silicone gives a good grip, even when there are some finger oils on there. I haven't dropped my phone once since getting this case.

If you're looking for a glossy case to show off your chosen color combination (read: Orange) for your Pixel 4 XL without too much bulk: this is a great case.

I'd like to emphasize the lack of bulk. It is solid protection, but it's slim. There's a raised lip around the edges of the screen and the camera box to protect them, but ultimately, that's how thin it is. That makes for a great compromise between the protection of a case and the thin-ness of the phone. Add to that the glossy clearness to show off your style, and you're in the sweet spot.

The power button and volume rockers work fine adding a bit more (as expected) but not much resistance. Plugging in the stock and all usb-c charging cables I had worked flawlessly with the case. It gives a fairly wide birth to the port. Wireless charging works without obstruction. The speakers and noise canceling mic port are open to do their jobs as well.

It's glossy but like you'd expect from TPU doesn't make the phone feel slippery.

My favorite phone case (with some added functionality)

Torras makes great cases. In fact, I have two of them - one with a stand (see above, which is also very good) and this one without. The one with the stand works great, but unfortunately doesn't allow you to charge it in a wireless charger, nor is the metal stand magnetic (which would have been great).

That's why I bought a metal ring clip (https://www.amazon.com/Syncwire-Rotation-Universal-Kickstand-Compatible/dp/B07QVYLDRL/) that I attached to the top of the case. This allows me to

a) still use the wireless charger
b) have phone stand up at any angle (sideways) or on its head (for apps that support that)
c) clip it to magnetic car mounts

To me, this is the best of all three worlds. It isn't perfect, but close to it. In either case, this case is great, super slim, easy to hold, nice buttons etc.

When I purchased the case I knew it was going to be thin. I received it and placed it on my Pixel 4 XL immediately, I didn't even open my phone until after I received it, and immediately felt as if it had some protection from everyday bumps. The entire product fits the device perfectly.

There are some minor flaws, such as the "crystal clear" portion of the name. However I did find the appeal in the thinner almost clear case. I feel confident that it would assist in my day to day needs for protection. I'm not particularly rough on my devices. As well, thanks to a popcap on the back, I haven't dropped my phone in months...knock on wood.

The entire case is not crystal clear. The sides are perfectly see through but the back seems to have a dot matrix style design on the inside. I currently have the black Pixel 4 XL and this portion is absolutely noticeable. I tried it on my wife's white version and it did look better but still obviously visible. This takes away, I feel, from the glass backing if the Pixel 4. Leaving it seemingly dull.

While holding the device with the case I did feel that it left me feeling secure in the grip. Typically cases like these leave me a little worrisome because it will fly out of my hand like a bar of wet soap. Which, when I was in the rain it did feel a little slick. But when my hands were dry completely it felt good.

All in all, if you are looking for a non expensive case I would recommend this. It is perfect for someone that wants to show of their style choice without breaking the bank.

I've had this for about an hour and so far I'm liking it:

Pros:
- A good gel-skin case that shows off the colour nicely. (In my case, orange)
- The gel-skin offers much better grip than a lot of other materials, so I think this might curb accidental drops.
- Appears to offer a bit more shock protection than the cloth ones that you can get with Google.
- It has about a 1 milimeter raised bevel all around the front, which helps protect the screen when you put it face-down. Same with the back for the camera.
- no problems with the power button or volume rocker. The gell covers them, however they still feel 'clicky'

Cons:
- Material is a fingerprint magnet. I think this is expected if you're going with gel-skin.

I was looking for a slim, clear cover for my Pixel 4XL and this Torras is a winner. I prefer a minimalist cover, basic protection, flexible, non-slip, quality construction, feels good in the hand. This Torras fits the bill plus the price is right, highly recommended. I also bought the ESR Essential Zero cover for comparison but I found it to be bulky, obtrusive corner protectors that stand out (some people may prefer this, I don't) and it has seams from the manufacturing process that you can see and feel. I wasn't happy, so back it went.

Prior I was using the Pixel cloth case from Google and it fit an finish on that was great as well. However, my only grip with that one was the damn cloth texture was so slippery to the touch that I literally dropped my phone every single time I grab it without being cautious. With this case, no need to worry about that! Has a good feel to it, doesn't feel like I will just slip out of my hands.
