About this item

  • 【Impact resistance and heat resistance】- TPOIMNS ABS filament 1.75mm white is a material with high strength, good toughness, and easy processing and molding, designed to reduce interference. It has a heat-resistant temp between 105 - 110 ˚C, and good mechanical properties, this material is also overflowing with luster in appearance.
  • 【Higher processability】- 1.75mm ABS filament (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene filament) is made from a special bulk polymerized ABS resin that is used in conjunction with a cornice or underpad to increase the area adhered to the platform when printing large-area objects.
  • 【Clean Roll and Moisture Free】- The white ABS filament 1.75mm comes in a vacuum sealed nylon vacuum bag with desiccant inside, in addition to being packaged in a sturdy, sealed box. The worry-free, high-quality packaging ensures that your filament has the best printing performance.
  • 【Our suggestion】- Please put the filament through the fixing hole after use to avoid tangling. First of all, the hot bed temperature is recommended to choose 90℃-110℃, when printing the first Layer, if the printing speed is slower, it can make the ABS stick to the printing platform more effectively and improve the warping situation.
  • 【Lifetime Technical Support】- If the product does not perform as expected, we offer a full refund. Let us help you get the perfect beautiful print and feel free to contact us through Amazon.

Great ABS for the money

Great ABS for the money
Great ABS. First time I printed ABS and proved the importance of an enclosure and the right print temperature. Found that a pei bed at 90c had good adhesion and printing at 270C nozzle temp gave nice shiny prints with minimal warping. The picture is of an earlier attempt at 240C nozzle which cracked during cooling. Printed at speeds up to 100 mm/s without issues. Printer is a Neptune 4 plus.

This is the first ABS filament I've purchased and it has been quite the surprise. Once I got the temps figured out and printer calibrated (ALWAYS CALIBRATE FOR NEW FILAMENT! search "Ellis Print Tuning Guide") I was surprised at how well this stuff prints and how easy it is. Settings I use on my Ender 3 (the old ender3) using Klipper using OrcaSlicer could probably be pushed to faster on all but the 1st layer:

Hot End (Creality Spider V2): 250°C
Bed: 110 C first layer then down to 100°-105° for the rest
No part fan cooling except on overhangs
Use brims if needed and keep your PEI clean
    15-20mm/s on 1st layer
50 mm/s outer walls, top & bottom layers
    60-65 mm/s for the rest

I've gone through about 2/3 of the 1st spool and honestly have had an easier time printing with this filament than several brands of PLA or PETG.

I dried 4 rolls at the same time for 12 hours and so far two of the 4 have printed quite well.
Hard to keep it stuck to build plate. I’m having to run build plate at 105 to keep it from popping.
But i have been able to run 125% print speeds and the parts are coming out nice looking.
    Cleaner then pla at 100%.
Only reason 4 stars and not 5 is build plate issues.
i read 1 star reviews saying layer bonding issues. I did run into this issue but was able to resolve with just slight temp increase. It likes 275c with 90 c bed temp on smooth plate and 100-105 on textured plate. You have to use glue or the print won’t stay stable. Found Elmer’s purple was the best and it’s cheap.

This gums up and won't adhere on bed at all and melts like translucent, and I've tried a LOT of different settings to get it to work, from bed temps to print head. Brims pull/peel and warp up and do NOT stick where other ABS works just perfect with exact same print. Going back to my trusty FlashForge.

I used this to make parts for my RC car. It printed great with little stringing and the car was very strong. No problem with bed adhesion and all i did was use the standard print setting for my Bambu x1 carbon.
