I have a few of these, 2 in NAS boxes, and one in a Firewall/Router for over a year of constant use. since they are headless (no keyboard & monitor) they are almost silent, these are perfect to have for recycling those old computers.

Meine Anforderung war, einen Telekom Mediareceiver 300 (als Zweitgerät) wieder zum Leben zu erwecken. Das hat mit dieser Transcend "IDE-SSD" letztendlich funktioniert (nachdem ich die Tipps zahlloser hilfsbereiter "Geister" recherchiert hatte).
Zusammenfassend: HD, respektive MR 300, startet bestenfalls noch sporadisch ; IDE-SATA-Adapter an SATA-HD oder SSD hat's nicht gebracht ; "Haupt-Receiver" ausschalten! ; IDE-SSD in MR300 IDE-Schnittstelle einstecken, Installationen "durchorgeln" lassen ; "Haupt-Receiver" wieder einschalten ; That's it!
Gern hätte ich derartige Informationen vom "rosa Riesen" am Stück erhalten! Die "Leidensgeschichte" zu dieser Thematik wäre hier deplaziert und würde diesen Rahmen sprengen (Hotline, Chat, E-Mail, ...).
2018-05 Ergänzung: Hat kurze Zeit super geholfen, letztendlich hat der Receiver aber doch das Zeitliche geseegnet. Schade!

In Media Receiver 300 Typ B eingebaut, tat anfangs super, jetzt leider nicht mehr

Nachdem die Festplatte unseres MR300 mit üblen Geräuschen den Geist aufgegeben hatte, hatte ich die Berichte hier gelesen. Man weiß ja nie, ob es wirklich nur an der Festplatte lag, aber den Preis dieser Solid State Festplatte kann man ja mal riskieren.
Ich war überascht, wie einfach der Umbau war. Die Solid State Disk ist in der Tat nicht viel größer als mein Daumen, das mitgelieferte Adapterkabel für die Stromversorgung ist fast größer. Das einzige was man noch benötigt, ist ein Torx-Schrauber-Bit Größe T-10 mit Mittenbohrung. Außerdem sollte man sich, die Arbeitsfläche und den Receiver vor Beginn der Arbeiten entladen haben, sowie natürlich das Gerät spannungsfrei machen (Stecker ziehen!). Nachdem man hinten die drei Schrauben entfernt hat, kann man den Deckel hochklappen, das Breitbandkabel der Festplatte aus dem Sockel des Mainboards ziehen und stattdessen direkt die Solid State Disk einstecken. Der Schiebeschalter war bereits in der Stellung "M". Nun noch die Stromversorgung umstecken. Die alte Festplatte stört ja nicht weiter, ich habe jedoch dort die Spannungsversorgung abgezogen.
Deckel wieder zu und das Gerät angeschlossen. Nach dem Herunterladen beginnt die Installation, und dafür braucht man einiges an Geduld. Aber danach lief alles wunderbar. Ich war begeistert, dass ich mit diesem Gerät als Zweit-Receiver sogar die Aufnahmen von dem mittlerweile angeschafften MR303 wiedergeben konnte.
Da ich das Gerät als Zweitgerät jedoch nicht ständig benötige, habe ich Fernseher und Gerät jetzt für eine Woche vollständig ausgeschaltet gehabt. Gestern wollte ich es wieder in Betrieb nehmen, doch jetzt gibt es eine Endlos-Schleife aus "Update herunterladen, Installieren und neu Starten". Entweder ist außer der Festplatte noch mehr im Argen oder - was ich eher vermute - der Speicherplatz auf der Solid State Disk reicht nicht aus, um parallel zur vorhandenen Installation ein Update herunter zu laden. Immerhin nimmt der Funktionsumfang von Entertain ja stetig zu. Hat jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen?

Das Flashmodul funktioniert auch mit dem Telekom Media Receiver MR 300 Typ A, allerdings nur mit einem kleinen Trick oder Umweg!

Nach Einbau mit Stellung des kleinen Schalters auf M (Master) kommt nach einer ganzen Weile (ca. 25 Min.) das bekannte rote X, d.h. funktioniert so also nicht.

Daher: Flashmodul einbauen - > Schalter am Flashmodul auf S (Slave) -> Update wird runtergeladen -> Update wird installiert (geht relativ flott) -> Beim Reboot und der erneuten Meldung Update wird heruntergeladen, Gerät sofort hinten ausschalten -> Schalter am Flashmodul auf M (Master) -> Gerät einschalten, dann sollte Initialisieren im Display erscheinen -> Gerät startet und funktioniert.

Klar ist, dass mit dem 1 GB Modul der MR 300 hauptsächlich als Zweit-Receiver nutzbar ist, da Timeshift und Aufnahme an diesem Receiver durch mangelnden Platz deaktiviert sind.

Bin durch das Telekom-Forum auf diese SSD Flash-Card gekommen und mit einem Tipp von "Peter65" funktioniert die SSD beim TYP A einwandfrei:

"Nach Einbau mit Stellung des kleinen Hebels auf M (Master) kommt nach einer Weile (ca. 25 Min.) das bekannte rote X.
